  • Move on and find a better monitor

    This device has a great handheld picture but that’s all. The app is horrible. I can never see when my kid is crying because the app/ camera is ALWAYS down or not working. In order to get it to work they want you to go into the room and manually reset it. That’s just not feasible as we need to reset it about 4 times a day. I have checked and even upgraded my internet to come find out it’s Hubble that’s the problem. I wouldn’t get this monitor again if I knew how inconsistent the app is. I’ve sent multiple emails to the support team and sent the logs with no response. Just don’t waste your money.

  • Good potential, too many issues

    The camera and monitor seem to be working just fine. However, I purchased because of the app so that I could check the monitor from my phone. That feature very rarely actually works. It almost constantly gives some sort of error message even though everything is fine on my end. I like the logging features a lot for growth, feeding, etc. but it’s annoying how many ads there are to get you to go premium. Just a small issue, but if you add a picture to your profile, it often disappears. I do like the app overall, but the issues can be frustrating.

  • So disappointed

    Edit: Per the reply, I went back to Walmart and purchased another unit. Same “stuttering” issue. But, for some reason this one connected and stopped. Time will tell if it is reliable.

    I bought the Hubble Guardian plus which is compared to the Owlet sock. This was $149+ at Walmart and I should have spent the extra $150 and got the Owlet. The base station will not connect to the app. I am pretty tech savvy and the ‘voice’ just goes into a stutter. I literally went to Walmart at 9:30pm just to get this because my 3 month old has RSV and I wanted a little ability to monitor him. So not only did I waste my time going out to buy it, now I need to go back to Walmart to return it. I think there is a great concept to this device, but it’s worthless if it won’t work. I don’t see Walmart keeping these products long. Also, information online to troubleshoot this particular device is not there. Even the website didn’t have this device to select for troubleshooting. At least I couldn’t find it. 🤷‍♀️

  • Find a different monitor

    Your baby monitor is supposed to help you monitor your baby. This app rarely lets you do that. There is ALWAYS a connectivity issue and we have great Wi-Fi at our house. Sometimes the app doesn’t track any movement at all for hours at a time (which has actually sent me into a panic a few times because I thought my baby hadn’t moved all night). We also unplugged one camera to move it to a different location, and now no matter what we do we can’t re-pair it. I spend more time trying to get it to work than actually using it. Don’t even get me started on the actual handset monitor…

  • Giving me problems that any camera shouldn't have

    I'm not sure if it's the app or the camera. I set the camera time zone to where I'm at and it is still off. A whole day and hours off. It doesn't catch every real movement although the motion detection sensitivity is on high. Weird because it will catch shadows and sunlight. I also had 2 cameras. One said it was offline. But it was 100% with connection. So I tried to unplug it and plug it back in, wasn't working. I looked on their website for support. It said to delete the camera from the list on the app and reconnect. So I deleted it and now it won't let me add it back. Tried resetting it and it's not doing what it is supposed to when you reset. Only way to contact for support is email. Easy to set up but not to reconnect, re add the camera. However, I like the wide lens and that you are able to turn it up, down, and side to side. I like the noise option, how you can speak both ways. The night light.

  • Excellent

    I needed a system to monitor my mother who has Alzheimer’s. For a great price, this system provides clear day and night coverage of her entire room (270 degrees in all directions). the nightlight and soothing sounds and two-way communication are awesome bonuses. All controlled from my phone! Every tool I needed to make sure my big baby is safe is all on my phone now.

  • Ads before you can see your child, Clunky

    I’ve reviewed the flaws in what should be a much better camera/ software system for the cost elsewhere. Specifically this app recently started putting ads for the premium subscription as pop ups before you can see what’s happening in the room. I’d be faster running into the baby’s room to see what’s happening. It’s as if we didn’t pay hundreds of dollars already for the device and INCLUDED basic version of the app. We’re looking to make a switch for baby #2.
    Also, ever since the recent apple updates, it’s clunkier on our phones and involves more backing out of the monitor screen and going back in for the video to refresh. I’m not 100% certain it’s just that, as the included Hubble monitor gets weird at times too. I gave it two stars since it doesn’t as frequently drop the connection randomly anymore (which requires one to go in the room, climb on a stool over the crib, and reset it from the camera in the nursery).
    For reference, I’ll note that we have some of the best at home internet you can find. We’ve checked to be sure. It’s Hubble. Not our Wi-Fi.

  • Excellent product and excellent customer service

    We purchased the nursery pal monitor for our baby and we have had the best experience with it. The app is super user friendly, and the camera is very easy to use and understand. We use it every single day. Customer service is also excellent and they got back to me almost immediately when I had a question about a product. Absolutely recommend this!

  • Best App to keep track of everything.

    As a new mom you tend to forget how many times you feed your baby due to baby brain. This app has been super helpful when asked by health professions about how much the little one takes/in how many hours, number of diapers etc. i can also keep track of little ones weight to adjust his feeding routine. Such a handy App. Definitely recommend.

  • Great app - change default music option please

    This app is great and the only thing I wish could be changed is the default music track is a very jaunty one called background happiness. It’s obviously designed to wake baby up but so easy to accidentally put on in the middle of the night instead of one of the more sleep-inducing tracks.

    Please allow us to select our own default track or put one of the more relaxing ones as the default. Otherwise app is great!
