  • It’s a No From Me

    We got the Hubble Eclipse + as a baby shower gift to use as a night light and sound machine. It connects to this app just like the camera systems do. The app is terrible. It’s constantly crashing. Right now I have a saved song and night light sitting running and it’s been going for well over 10 hours because the app shows the unit is disconnected even though it’s playing music now. If I need to adjust anything in the middle of the night I have to flip the power switch on the device off and on and then crossed my fingers and do a rain dance while praying that the app works. Terrible app for a device that should be the best on the market.

  • Poor customer service and more…

    Honestly, if my husband and I didn’t get this from the baby shower, we wouldn’t have got this monitor. The customer service is so poor! You can only email them for support and you NEVER get a response back. Other issues include a sound delay of at least 5 seconds. The camera also is super sensitive when it comes to wifi connectivity, so the camera constantly goes out even when it shows a 100% wifi signal. I hate to give such a bad review, but honestly, I’m so over the Hubble.

  • Poor quality wifi

    Consistent issues with wifi even when we have 100% connectivity within our household. Randomly will tell me to turn the camera on (when it’s clearly on) and will not work again until I unplug from the wall (versus the actual device on the wall). This is super inconvenient because the outlet is located behind my baby’s crib. In order to not disturb her, I usually have to wait until she wakes up before I can go in and try that solution- occasionally have to wait until the morning. This is super frustrating and after reading reviews, it seems as though this is a very common problem with this product. Additionally, whenever I open the app it says “error” and I have to wait to tap “retry” before it loads. This is every single time I open the app on my phone. Lastly, the screen of my device has warped overtime (no dropping or fault of my own) and now there is a wrinkle around the screen. Unfortunately will not be buying another monitor for my next baby and will go with an entirely different product. I really like everything else about the Hubble, but the unreliability to connect and function is too great and too persistent.

  • Motion sensitivity

    I use my camera to serve a very simple purpose, didn't need all the extra options just mostly to watch my place and my child if I'm not there. I have the motion sensor on the lowest and it keeps alerting me that movement was detected so that's really annoying, I have music or a TV on in close proximity to the camera and am thinking that has something to do with it. But it's not just 1 or 2 alerts. It's been like 6 within 45minutes

  • Not great

    Really disappointed in this app. I picked this camera specifically for three reasons: 1.) it had a tablet monitor, 2.) an app and 3.) records movement. This all does not record movement. I can be watching my baby wiggle on the tablet and my phone won’t capture anything. I woke up for the other night for the first time to my baby sleeping on his belly. I did not know how long he had been in that position. It is very frustrating because the whole point of me purchasing this camera was because it had these three options. I returned the owlet and wished I had not. The owlet had great camera quality and great noise/movement detection. Hubble needs to update their app to meet the new standards. (Yes I went through all the steps to fix the issues. No resolution)

    Forgot to mention that the app is offline every other day. Bad camera and app all together

If you do not receive notifications, please heck if you allowed HubbleClub notifications in your phone's settings. If not, please enable this. Do you have 'Do Not Disturb' activated, perhaps? If you enabled "Do Not Disturb" you will not get any notifications.   • Weak notifications

    We enjoy being able to see our kiddo whenever we need to, but if they wake up while we’re sleeping, the notifications from our app aren’t enough to wake us. It’s the same type of notification as an email, or the weather. You can’t change the tone to be any louder, or longer. What’s the point of having a monitor, if it can’t wake you up if your child needs you?

  • Okay at best

    Camera and monitor are quite good. The app is horrendous barely connects to the live feed. Doesn’t detect movement very well.
    And the constant stupid notifications about upgrading to premium are ridiculous and no you’re not spreading awareness about features, your just trying to get more money out of new parents. And the actual features are not worth a subscription at all.

  • Buggy app and endless spam notifications

    The live video rarely works on the app, and when it does it takes forever to load up. The actual footage is terrible and flashes from light to dark constantly. The temperature reading is completely off. The sound sensor is faulty so it gives me a new notification every minute even if it’s deadly silence. The motion detector notification is better but it takes too long for me to even load up the footage to see what’s going on for it to be useful. I also get notifications asking me to upgrade my membership all the time and I can’t figure out how to stop them. Overall I’m considering getting another baby monitor all together so that I don’t have to use this app anymore.

  • Cameras turn off and makes odd clicking sound

    I had high hopes for this camera as our free trial with Nanit was expiring. They push their paid membership every time you log into the app. The camera constantly drops from the WiFi which causes us to have to reset the camera while our baby sleeps. Also, from time to time the music stops and makes an odd clicking sound. The camera quality is also not the best. In the dark the quality is pretty grainy.

  • HORRIBLE customer service!

    I would give 0 stars if I could for the fact that I’ve been going back and forth for 2+ months with customer service and they’re still not helping me! My camera went offline out of nowhere so I sent them all the information they asked for, and the problem still isn’t resolved. It takes weeks for them to even respond back or look into the problem! Customer service is absolutely TERRIBLE! Save yourself the trouble and go with a different brand. They won’t even refund me my money or replace the camera. I had to purchase a different brand monitor because this has been going on for way too long and it doesn’t seem like it’ll get resolved anytime soon.
