My experience with Red Pocket has been great. I assume it’s because I understand how and why the 3G shut off works lol most of the reviews are people complaining about things they had more than enough time to prepare for.
SERVICE - The service itself has been great. No dropped calls, clear calling with no echo or cracking, visual VM, Wi-Fi calling and plenty of data. My favorite part is the Hotspot that piggie backs off the 100GB data I get with the unlimited plan. They are one of the best MVNO’s in my opinion. Just know they use AT&T network so 3G is a no go. Have the proper phone the network supports 😉
THE APP - Basic and simple to use. Nothing special. Would be nice if they had a section that shows you how much you’ve used, even on the unlimited plan.

100GB plan isn’t worth the issues
2nd month on their $50 (100GB) plan and it has went downhill quickly, enough to say I will be ending my service. 100GB for $50 sounded to good to be true and seems to be a ploy to grab quick subscribers for a short term gain. I use hotspot away from home, quite often at work, but it hasn’t worked in over a week (not my iPhones problem as an AT&T SIM card gets me connected via hotspot as well as a Visible SIM card). It’s not just hotspot but when I search internet, it is slow to connect so I can’t rely on RP service any longer.Show lessmarthony

I am not sure why there a people saying the app doesn’t work. I have three lines with red pocket. The app shows all three lines and all the pertinent information. I have been a customer many years and red pocket has saved me a ton of money. The Plans are the best I can find out there.Wheelerjs

Just go to their website and go to help, then search “does Red Pocket have an app” you see the answer is NO!!
I talked with several representatives in red pocket and they told me sam thing.

… I would have given at least two stars if I could actually log into my account, but it hung up at a white screen just by entering my username and password. Had to force quit the app on my iPhone 5s.Jeff J.2
Waste of money and time
Biggest waste of money and time I have ever experienced in my life. Got hung up on when I informed them about my 4mbps 3G service. Spent over 6 hours in 4 hours on the phone with people who just want the IMEI of every device you own. Stay away!!high!ydisappointed
