  • App issues

I love imperfect foods! The last two weeks I have not been able to order using the app. Two weeks ago both on-line and the app were not working. You could only see the categories and not the individual items. The online site is now working but the app is not. I can see my cart and the items in my cart but cannot order. I reached out to Customer Service but they just said to delete the app and reload. Well you can remove the app, which I did, and reload it but no fix.
  • User for over 1 year

Deliveries go smoothly, the selection is good, you always get what you ask for, quality produce and fair prices. If you struggle to remember to pick out your box every month try setting an alarm and/or turn on notifications for the app and your email so you get double notified of your shopping window. It was hard for me to remember at first but now I basically never forget. It might be cool if the app let users set preferences so the random boxes would come a little more personalized, like organic produce only or dairy free, peanut allergy etc.
  • Overcharged for Items you don’t pick, No reimbursement! It’s a scam

If you can’t remember to skip when you don’t want groceries, don’t use this app! They overcharge for random items you don’t even get to pick yourself if you miss the shopping deadline window (which is very short in the busiest days of the week).

Good stuff is always out of stock, and there is no way to ever get reimbursed for orders that the app made for you without your knowledge. My last order contained 75% stuff I’m allergic too and charged me $70, and told me a cancelling or reimbursement is not possible. Instead I was offered a discount, even though I can only eat less than 4 items purchased on my behalf.

I started using this service to save money and help reduce food waste, yet when they order items I can’t eat and charge me, I am LITERALLY paying to increase food waste. It feels like a scam and a money grab. Most of the items are cheaper at the store, so don’t waste your time paying extra for items you won’t always be able to choose. Inflation is too high for low income people to be overcharged for groceries they can’t eat!
  • More expensive than supermarket!

Their whole gimmick is cheaper foods with imperfections. Sounds great during these insane times, right? But no. The products are both flawed AND more expensive than I could get at my local Walmart— and Walmart delivers when I want, plus all my other non-food essentials. Very disappointed and will not be recommending.
  • Too many bugs

I can place my orders usually. However the process is painful. Too many bugs. The orders tab never loads. Just bouncing veggies. I left it like that once for 15 minutes and that tab never loaded. Therefore I could not skip orders. When leaving the basket empty too many times they suspended my account without telling me why. Once you tap an item to read more about it, the “Back” button does not work. It’s just and image with text or essentially functions as so. I have to go roundabout ways to get back to scrolling through the items. There’s no way to say “Forgot Password”. It’s the most convenient way to order but the level of buggy-ness of the app is very painful.
  • Update the app

I’m a picky eater so the app automatically making my cart is a bit of a hassle- especially when it’s on autopay.
I wish I had a sort of “you didn’t approve your cart by the dead line so we won’t deliver your food this week” feature. I’m sure many ppl would appreciate that.
If you use this service then make sure you plan ahead and shop for your cart WEEKS in advanced.
You don’t want food you don’t eat coming to your door. It defeats the entire purpose of the app.
Other than that it’s a pretty cool app if you don’t like grocery shopping and wouldn’t mind paying a bit more for groceries.
  • Absolutely love!

There are so many things I love about this company! First of all the products are top notch and they are imperfect. Your getting quality food that isn’t overpriced and free delivery over $60!! I love that they deliver because life is busy sometimes. There are certain products I can no longer live without! Most important is that fact that we are no longer a part of the problem of food waste. Another genius thing they do is you they reuse their freeze packs and coolers. That is one thing I hated the most about meal plan deliveries. Thank you!
  • Love everything about this

I'm loving this app. I've been using it for months and honestly almost every time the produce is better quality than what I find in stores. This last week, the mangos weren't up to par and I let them know, within a few minutes I had the money I spent on mangos refunded to my card and they said they let the produce team know so they could fix the problem! Very impressed with this after a horrifying situation trying to cancel a recurring toothbrush order from another company that ignored me for months and then refused to refund the money for the orders placed while they ignored me! I also had an issue when my phone updated and I wasn't logged in so I didn't get a notification of an upcoming order where I ended up spending a bunch of money on things I wouldn't use, they refunded that order and helped me figure out the automatic cart loading so that won't happen again. Very impressed with the quality of products AND customer service, a rare combination
  • Great concept, poor execution

Driver was very late, which is whatever but because the items are perishable, being on time is important. I have other places to be so time is of the essence. Also picking your stuff days ahead becomes a moot point when they “sell out” of the stuff you “ordered” the day of delivery.
  • Súper helpful

Couldn’t be happier with this service. They’re great at reminding users to check their carts. Only had surprise groceries a couple times and it’s good stuff so not really a problem. Quick to resolve any issues. Two thumbs up, for sure
