  • app and website are as bad as the reviews say

    Do not open an account with citizens access unless you’re comfortable without access to your account when you need it. I’ve had it less than 2 weeks and have had trouble logging in more often than not
  • Fix log in Touch ID not working

    Touch ID not working having trouble logging in ,has me very skeptical about continuing to business especially if I can’t even login to account my to access my money!!!
  • Touch ID enabling crashes the app

    On my iPhone SE, I’m given the option to enable login by TouchID. When I try to enable it, the app freezes.
    For a bank app this is unacceptable. I’m a new customer and as soon as my money transfer complete, I’ll close my Citizens account and take my money elsewhere. Can’t believe such a basic features doesn’t work on a bank app - at least on some phones, I imagine.
  • Terrible app & account

    There is a delay before the funds appear in the account. I wasn’t able to access my account for an extended period of time. I was unable to contact a representative. I was placed on hold twice for over 40 minutes & gave up. I’ll be closing my account. I wouldn’t recommend this app or this account to anyone.

    I have had no problems with the app and this is the highest online rate I could find. Friend of mine and I both use it.
  • Could use improvement

    I am happy with the bank services but this app could use some improvement. Login with Touch ID does not work. Seems a little buggy in general.
  • BEWARE BEFORE YOU OPEN AN ACCOUNT!

    I haven’t even had this account for 24 hours and it’s been a nightmare. I wanted a new hys to split funds for different things. So i open this account (HUGE MISTAKE). i Cannot transfer any funds into the account. The app and website is terrible. It lags, it kicks you out randomly, it won’t load half the time. I called customer service and was on hold for HOURS before i was able to speak to someone Was told by different representatives that it hadn’t gone through and a ticket was made. I decided i just wanted to close my account. I moved the money to my other Citibank HYS account. All of a sudden a new representative tells me the money is pending and it did go through. It shows nothing is pending on the app or the website and the last representative was not able to see that. This is insane. The hold times are ridiculous. Do your research before you open. I’ve been with Citizens Bank for over a decade and assumed it would be a similar experience. I was so wrong. Not even 24 hours with this account and it’s been nothing but a dang headache. Listen to the reviews, don’t put your money here.
  • Great interest rate

    As a high yield savings account, it’s one of the highest in the nation, but it’s important to note there’s not much user functionality from the app. The other super important thing to know is that Citizens Access is a branch of Citizens Bank, but it has its own separate website & app. So your login information for Citizens Access won’t work at Citizens Bank. I was confused about that for a few days. Lol
  • No Mobile Deposit Even Though FAQs say otherwise

    Your FAQs on the website and in the app direct users to deposit checks via the app but the app does not provide this functionality. Do better Citizens!!!! So the only way to make a deposit is to use another account in a different bank and then transfer money to Citizens Access or mail checks via snail mail! What a joke.
  • One of Best savings account online.

    They are advertising one of the best APY for saving accounts online so I just opened new savings account. However, after reading all reviews I’m not sure I should fund this?!
    It is just a a savings account for me so I won’t need all the bells and whistles on the app, however It is a little concerning not knowing if finds can be access when needed!?
    I did have trouble signing in the first couple of times on website and phone but it seemed like the website wasn’t syncing with Phone app. Same password would not work on the two devices.
