One of Best savings account online.
They are advertising one of the best APY for saving accounts online so I just opened new savings account. However, after reading all reviews I’m not sure I should fund this?!
It is just a a savings account for me so I won’t need all the bells and whistles on the app, however It is a little concerning not knowing if finds can be access when needed!?
I did have trouble signing in the first couple of times on website and phone but it seemed like the website wasn’t syncing with Phone app. Same password would not work on the two devices.

It’s an ok app
The app is very basic
But it does not deserve the rating it had

Horrible app
Just stick to website. Asks to verify transaction, but then gets stuck and crashes. I removed app and redownload it, still stuck in the same place.
Can’t let me input verification code
It’s been already two months the above-mentioned problem still exist. App much worst than Safari !! Ridiculous!

I thought this was a great idea but poorly executed by Citizens.
I have had this account for 5 months and experienced outrages 4 times with one of them being over a day.
Since the app is the only way to access your money I find that extremely unacceptable.
Citizens needs to read this. Since you have brick and mortar stores , when these events happen . YOU NEED TO KET YOUR CUSTOMERS ACCESS THEM TO ACCESS THEIR MONEY . I am beyond done with this app and Citizens access

Completely dead
Updated the app today, and was looking forward to the alleged improvements to what is the barest of bare-bones banking apps. However, the app is completely dead. I can’t get any portion of the log in screen to respond, so I can’t insert my password, get help, etc. I was set up for touch login, but unsurprisingly, that doesn’t work, either. In short, this latest update is wholly nonfunctional. Hopefully, I can still access my information though the website.

Doesnt function well at all
The app doesn’t function well. There are to many areas that simply don’t function well when compared to other banks similar apps. For example login time is extensive to the point the user feels the login is t working. Not ability to deposit via app. The app doesn’t store settings for fingerprint login. The list goes on.

Doesn’t work
I downloaded the app and signed in. I got to the 2nd screen to verify my identity by either text, call or email. I couldn’t choose anything. Tapping on the choices didn’t work and the continue button wouldn’t highlight until a choice was made. Tried several times, waited, removed and reinstalled twice. Nothing worked. Deleted.
