Doesn’t have all the bells and whistles but it works
I opened a HYSA with citizens (this is the app you need to use, not the regular citizens account). Citizens access is like a separate entity of citizens bank. I was debating between ally and citizens but went with citizens because their APY was higher. No this app does not have all the bells and whistles and features like other banks such as Ally’s “buckets” features, however it gets the job done. As long as my money is FDIC insured, is accruing interest, and I can transfer my money in and out if need be, then I am happy. It’s a savings account after all, the goal is to let it sit there and not really touch anyways right? Not the fanciest but gets the job done in my opinion.

Interest rate good but app not that good
Interest rate for high-yield savings is good but I made a transfer and it us not showing up yet. Over one day later. Would like to update password to one picked by iPhone can’t do that. No way to even update password I think. Hard to trust the bank with your money when the app is not that good.
Really poor app
Face ID doesnt work. Slow load time. No indicator of when funds will be available. Back end money movement is incredibly slow. I also looked into this to see if it was a scam because both the site and mobile app are so bad.

Totally confusing and no phone assistance after hours
The app is not useable
The app is not useable. I am stuck where it asks you if you want to receive a text, email or phone call to provide your access code. Once I select my option, press continue, the code is sent but the screen reverts back to the request code screen. I again select my method of receiving the code and the same process occurs. This loops on forever!

Touch ID profile cannot be saved in profile setting. Fix the app!!!

I don’t usually do reviews, but I really wish this app worked even a little so I don’t have to go through a web page. I can’t get the information I need. Please fix it!
Worth less than their website
Don’t waste your time. This citizens access stuff feels slimy and scammy. A real bank uses plaid to integrate to other real banks? No ach? A website that says to use a no-existent feature of their mobile app to make deposits? No clues as to how to get your funds out? Yikes!!!
