    Been going to the gym off and on my entire life (blame my ADHD hatred if routines + need for variety and successes to stay motivated). This app makes it so easy and I don’t get bored of the plans, first time I’ve stuck to a workout schedule for longer than two months (currently on month seven!) Meg is amazing!

  • The best progression program

    I’ve had this program for years and love the flexibility, the constant improvements and consistency. I’ve seen the best progress in my performance with this latest block of peak and can’t wait for the next.
  • The Best Fitness App I’ve Ever Used By A Long Shot

    I started with the Before the Barbell programme which is free on Instagram and offers amazing content for a free programme, and three weeks ago progressed to this app. What it offers compared to competitors in terms of science-backed information and programming structure is incredible, plus tips on form etc, and they are continuously listening to the community and updating and adding new features, demonstrating they really care about their user base. I’ve seen more progress in a the few months with Meg’s programme than I ever have across years using influencer programmers. Meg and her team are brilliant and I can’t thank them enough for this fantastic service!

    As a neurodivergent person (with both autism and ADHD) having a programme that simultaneously gives me structure but also variety to keep me engaged is a huge plus also! Almost programmes I’ve used in the past I end up getting bored and wanting to switch very quickly, but I can see myself using this app for a very long time to come ☺️

  • Best strength program I’ve ever used!

    I’ve been following the SBTD program for 2 years and using this app since it first became available. There were initially some usability problems with the app, but the bugs seem to have been all ironed out and the team is very responsive with issues and taking user feedback into consideration. The program itself is incredible, I’ve made so many strength gains since starting. The focus of the program changes every 8-12 weeks which gives you enough time to progress without getting bored. There is also a good amount of variability week to week with accessories to keep you interested but also progressing. The app itself is very easy to use and new features & information are always being added. The express program changed the game for me. I now spend less than an hour 4/week in the gym and have made great progress! I also want to shout out how affordable the program is. It is the best bang for your buck out there!

  • This is it. This is the app I need.

    I’ve tried a lot of different apps for fitness, training, and logging training. I’ve also tried pen and paper. This app is better than all the other options.
    Considering the price, the programming is pretty good. But the real star of the show here is the user interface. Everything is really easy to use— the exercise demos/instructions are excellent, it’s really easy to sub in exercises, and there’s a built-in timer for rest time. There are a few different options for how to break up the week (3, 4, and 5 day options) and there are always Express versions (fewer sets for a shorter workout) and Bodyweight versions (using bands/DBs).
    Plus, the SBTD community is fantastic and supportive! And customer service is responsive and helpful when you’re having an issue. I definitely recommend this app to my friends, and with a free trial, it couldn’t hurt to try it out!

  • Keeps me motivated

    I was a beginner when I first started and this app has been a godsend. I avoided going to the gym as I didn’t know what I was doing and wanted something more program-like than watching a few YouTube videos. At the end of the day when my brain is done from work, I want a program I can follow.

    Knowing I had a program to follow, with short gif-like videos that showed me how to do each exercise, and a tracker for my PBs, this app has seriously helped me stay motivated and consistent in the gym.

    The app itself works really well, no complaints there! The program is 🔥🔥.
  • Great gym but there’s room for improvement

    I’ve been using this app for over a month now and really enjoy the variety of days and styles of workouts. The only small gripe I have is when loading the videos for the exercise - it either takes forever to load or doesn’t load at all. I am curious if I am the only one who is coming across this issue in which I would say I have zero complaints for the app.

    Took me a while to find this app, but so glad I did. I wanted a really good program for getting stronger, with a really good app that made it easy for me. I also needed to be able to make this suit my home gym needs, with flexibility for my busy life.
    The team is responsive and always pushing out improvements, so I think I’m a lifer now?

  • The app you’ve been missing to ACTUALLY get stronger!!

    I can’t say enough good things about SBTD. I’ve spent years being duped by the lies of fitness influencers with good genetics, but SBTD is the real deal. If you’re paying for a gym and you actually want to get stronger, this app is the best $10 you’ll spend a month. I spent a year working with a personal trainer for 10x the cost and half of the results that I’ve seen with SBTD. I’m hitting numbers in my major lifts that I never dreamed were possible and seeing muscle growth in places I never have before. All without injury!! I coach rock climbing and I recommend this app to all of my women and non-binary clients as supplemental training because the app is so customizable and the training is so effective at improving overall strength and confidence in movement. I love the latest updates, especially for time zones and the express options for my busier clients. I can see how this programming would be less than ideal for a high level competition power lifter and most folks won’t see quite the kind of aesthetic results as with bodybuilder training, but if you want to participate in some of the most cost-effective programming for strength gain and overall fitness, download this app and keep showing up!
