  • If I could give it a zero I would but I can’t so I give it a 1

You log into the app: 1 password, then you have to log into the APARTMENT WEBSITE: password 2…..are you logged into the app and just logged into the apartment website? Yeah? Cool! Oh but you wanna pay your rent? Here, log in. Did you just log in to pay your rent after being logged in twice to use the app? Sorry but here, log in so you can look at your lease. You just logged in five separate times and want to look at reserving an amenity or check for a package? Awesome! Here we just need you to LOG IN.
Ha! Got you to login just to see a completely blank pageeee 🎶🎶
  • Useless and Inconvenient

As a leaser of a grey star property, I was sent an email stating the online resident portal features would be moved to this app for convenience. This includes maintenance requests, community posts, and most importantly rent payment. All of this was moved over for ease of use and access but after using the app I can confirm it was a total waste. Rent payment redirects you to login from an in app web tab to pay. The same way you’d pay online. Not everything needs an app and this proves it.
  • The Worst

Believe the reviews. I am so irritated with my complex for forcing us to use this platform; I’m seriously considering moving just because of this.

This app feels more like a marketing ploy or scam credit card service than somewhere that I can simply pay my rent. Every month, I run into some frustration.

    - The interface is spam first, functionality second. The opposite of user-friendly.
    - I do not care about my points, especially when they will do nothing for me for another 2 years.
    - App wouldn’t allow me to add my bank account to avoid the processing fee until I did so via my browser.

Essentially, everything the app is actually meant for (paying rent, seeing pay history, comparing charges from month to month) is secondary. You have to fight to find/complete these things.

A marketing collab with the Beckham boy is not going to overcome these fundamental problems.
  • So inconvenient to just pay

The previous app my community was using was SO user friendly to make a payment. This app is beyond inconvenient for that purpose. It makes you sign in EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I live with roommates and we all pay separately and I like to check and make sure everyone has made a payment so we all don’t get a late payment on our rental history. The maintenance and contact features are fine, but how tedious it is to get into the payment portal is why I’m leaving 1 star. PLEASE fix this.
  • Privacy Nightmare and Dark Patterns

Persistently and sneakily tries to get me to sign up for a credit card through Bilt, which I don’t want given their terrible security record with fraud

Constantly begs for permissions to access and view my financial information in perpetuity. I don’t want rewards, I don’t want to share my financial history, I just want to pay rent. The actual pay rent functionality is filled with terrible UI and dark patterns.
  • Forced

This app has been forced onto the residents of the complex I most unfortunately reside at. The app charges to pay rent. I highly doubt their dumb little reward points will amount to anything useful. I don’t need imaginary treats to pay my rent. I just want to pay my rent. Not go through ads or be offered stupid Mastercard/app cards. Million/billion dollar companies playing landlord and just trying to squeeze every cent out of their residents.
  • Great experience

Thrilled with the transition to this app and the new rewards program. I signed up - pretty cool! Not sure where the $10 fee others are mentioning is coming from - I think when you pay with debit cards, which wasn’t free prior to this transition. The app is easy to navigate for payments and also checking upcoming events or notices from my building - it’s a little slow sometimes but overall great!
  • Heading in a good direction

The app could use some tweaks, but overall I’m glad I’m able to earn points on my rent payments. Other reviews have said you have to sign up for the credit card or pay fees for submitting rent payments, but that hasn’t been my experience paying with my bank account. The pros with Bilt & Greystar outweigh the cons for sure. Some people just like to complain.
  • Greystar App > Life

Life has been difficult to navigate since my Mad Cow Disease diagnosis in June of 2012. Ever had someone scream “moo” at you? To get back on track, this app has made handling my home payments a breeze. Now I have more time to focus on my rehab, reruns of J.A.G, and trying to quit my severe nicotine addiction. Moral of the story, I wouldn’t be who I am today without this app.
  • Life-Changing

Oh, let me tell you, this app is nothing short of a modern miracle! Managing my apartments upkeep has transcended to an unparalleled level of awe-inspiring brilliance. It's like the app gods descended from the heavens to gift us with this masterpiece. Making rent payments has never felt more exhilarating – a true beacon of innovation!
