  • Another predatory change from Greystar

    The moment that you click the payment access you are brought to a page essentially begging you to sign up for a “new Mastercard” just to make payments. The only way to add payment methods is to access your account details, you can NOT use Stripe to connect as the developers didn’t account for basic workflow (Software dev myself so..) consistent crashes on new hardware, and all the lack of security which comes with most apps.

    Likewise the forced switch requires you to pickup this new credit card to earn rewards which can “lower your rent”, but in no world is there ever a good reason to use a CC for rent.

    The entire process is a huge grey (not pun intended) legal area which seems to be normal for Greystar.
  • Forced to download

    I was forced to download this app because my complex won’t let me log into the website to sign documents the way I have for multiple years. The thing is this app just takes me to the old website, it doesn’t add anything new other than frustration and confusion. It’s just some stupid extra step that adds nothing of value. This is disgraceful.

    I love the app. Some bugs and tweaks, but other than that. It’s been great. Some people just enjoy complaining about anything lol
  • By far the worst app I have ever experienced

    Why is it so hard to pay rent?
    Why is promoting a credit card with them?
    Why do we need a perks tab?
    Why can’t we access our lease documents without getting sent outside the app?

    Everything with the old app was better😬👏🏼

    This is just a pathetic app all around, and it feels like it is out dated and they just went the cheap routine. There’s no reason to have adds, or payment rewards? Greystar should be embarrassed, and I’m sure the people that rolled this out will not take any of the blame….. as the poor property staffs will be taking the hit for it.

    If you had part in “creating this app” or anything with this app you should ashamed of yourself….
  • Product Team Should Be Fired

    Greystar’s PM’s have officially taken the trophy for worst digital product every from the lovely people over at Fetch Delivery.

    The app doesn’t even let you pay your rent on the online portal or via the mobile app, yet we get fined for paying our rent late. Don’t penalize residents for a terribly shipped app with worst-in-class UI and UX.
  • This app is terrible,

    Grammatical errors and residents don’t appreciate properties going to this which then adds additional increase of processing fees when paying rent. This is ridiculous. The app doesn’t appear to have been tested in dev environment prior to going into production. When attempting to pay through resident portal in the browser and selecting “payments & rewards” nothing opens, yet we have to download this poorly created app in order to pay rent. I would’ve gave 0 stars, but it’s not an option. This app is not building trust, but rather doing the complete opposite for residents/tenants that are being forced to use this. All property management that have onboarded this app for rent payments clearly didn’t test this out themselves before making residents use this and it shows. Poor decision making.
  • 9.99$ fee unless you sign up for their Mastercard

    There was literally nothing wrong with the previous payment method of just using the website. Sketchy quality app that gives me no confidence in the company and honestly makes me worried they will be an easy target to have information stolen. The whole service is built around you signing up for their Mastercard and if you don’t there’s a 9.99$ service fee to this company to pay your rent on top of the other service fees you’re already paying. Ridiculous and stupid.

    Trash !!!! I hate it. Horrible experience for a renter. I miss the old payment one that we used. My other app was great and easy had Apple Pay or took the money out of the account instanly still waiting and it’s been over 48hrs and hasn’t been taken out of my account for this one. I don’t care about trying to earn points for paying my rent this is trash.

    I normally don’t write reviews, but this app is awful! I have been FORCED to start using it and if I could move out of my apartment complex I would only because of having to use this app. It is not secure and if my personal information is stolen because of this app i wouldn’t be surprised. I didn’t ask for it and I don’t want it! I tried using a desktop to login and it wouldn’t let me.
  • Inconvenient

    Don’t know why my apartment complex decided to switch to this. All I know is that it’s made things worse, now I have to give this app my privacy just to be able to make a payment that I was able to do quite easily before but now I have to go in here and sign in and have to try to find the payment tab to be able to make payments and on top of it you have to pay a $10 dollar fee just to be able to pay your rent. This is so frustrating.
