  • I was happy until I was forced to purchase

Now that I have purchased it's still forcing me to upgrade 😡. It would have also been nice to know that I would have to pay to use it and with some warning that the free trial was coming to an end!
  • App crashes ALL THE TIME

I have had this app since the beginning. I had this app on my palm pilot. I now have an iPhone and MAC, and it crashes all the time! I’ve lost count how many time it crashes on a given day when I’m trying to access it. On my phone the icons do not match up with the correct types like they do on the desktop app. If for any reason I’m not in an area with data I can not access the app. They have pushed everyone to an web based SplashID which I’m against but was forced into. Apps are the future why waste time with creating a web based feature? It’s difficult to export all my data since they have the file in a format that’s not easy for other password applications to read, otherwise I would have already abandoned this app. The customer support is a joke! They like to blame you for your ignorance. There is no phone number it’s only an email that you have to wait around for a day or two, if you’re lucky, to have some kind of assistance. Had a friend looking for a password keeper app, couldn’t recommend this app at all. In fact STAY AWAY from it!

  • The best and last password keeper you will ever buy

SplashID is probably the best password and credential manager there is. I was an early adopter of SplashID back in the day and could not be more pleased. Just like any app it has had its issues over the years but they have responded to feedback and fixed the issues. If you are considering making the purchase I would highly recommend doing so, just disregard most of the negative 1 star reviews from the early days.

  • Changed my review from 1 to 4 stars

[Update: After hours of diagnosing and research, I found that my network profile in Windows 10 changed from private to public, which blocked the desktop program from accepting a connection from the app on my phone. Merely turning off the firewall did not solve the problem. Verifying that your network profile is private in Win10 should be on the troubleshooting steps. Once I did this, everything sync-ed and my data was back.] I’ve been a long time proponent of SplashID (I have records from at least 2009) and influenced its purchase for a number of people. Unfortunately, the developer’s drive for cloud revenue weakens the WiFi support. Ensuring the app is open, the WiFi is on and subnets are the same only takes a user so far. My iPhone X SplashID data disappeared today during a sync.

  • Must have app

I’ve been using this app for many years even before iPhone. Now I can have access to my data across desktop iPad and iPhone. The subscription is well worth the money considering you are protecting all your accounts. I also want to acknowledge the developers for their quick response to any issues. Very customer focused ! Thanks 😀

  • Excellent password archive

I could not live without this app. Stores all my passwords and synchronises them across devices without flaws. Perfect app!
  • We've drifted apart

We've been together for more years than I care to remember and I think of our times together on Palm with great fondness.

After a few years on iOS, the relationship cooled. First I was asked to pay to use the cloud version (which I didn't want) and then after a few more years asked to pay too much to synchronise over wifi. The frequent hangs and crashes when trying to find weak wifi signals was a major irritation and one that was never addressed.

So with a new subscription demand in my inbox, it's time to part. You have deliberately made it impossible to transfer data to other apps - a cynical and clingy ploy that has made me more determined than ever to leave. It's not me, it's you.

So long and thanks for the early years.

  • Must have

This is a must have App. I’ve been using it since the Windows CE days. It’s great to have all my passwords and other data safe and secure on my iPhone, iPad Mac and PC.
  • The app is integral to every day of my life

I have been using this program for several years on 4 different devices not including using the website as my back up access. I have been using the cloud sync and think I have only had one problem syncing and it turned out to be my fault. This application is an integral of my entire life. I can keep track of alimony every pierce is data. I use custom passwords for everything. Everything I access needs SplashID open for me to access my data sources. The program is stable, for me, and I can always access my data. Every now and then there is a little glitch that a quick restart of the app won’t solve. Other password managers try to be too cute in their implementation and are too integrated into your web browser experience. SplashID gives me a stand-alone database of all my life records accessible at a moments need. My only complaint is speed of accessing customer support and the subscription management seems to have some glitches. But I have always been able to solve the issue with their help.

  • Splash ID iPhone.

I have been using the app for several years now. I just wish it had iPhone X screen support. It is now one of the few apps that doesn’t. But it does work with FaceID.
