BA app
Not user friendly and difficult to retrieve more than one boarding pass.
Regular BA Advocate.
Need to be fixed:
The app is slow and constantly has an “open app” banner at the top which is not selectable.
I have pad for selected seats both ways for both of us yet I’m told that my ticket is basic as I have no gold baggage allowance so I cannot amend my seat choice or I can pay to change it.
I have a companion voucher worth £1200 yet I cannot add my second connection and fully pay for it, like I can when booking BA and partner without the companion voucher. I have to book with the partner separately (Airlink) and queue a total of 4 hours both ways to check them in again. I fly every year, complaint to you and you never address this for your customer.
The pre booked paid for £11 sandwich has poor bread and bad wine.
When travelling to Italy it’s a travesty in both camps when a great glass of local wine at any Italian bar is €1.50 with free boiled egg and snacks. Just a comparison to Rip off, poor quality UK and it’s here based provision.
Otherwise the app is slow but works. BA experience as lost its charm since 2002 when I started being loyal with little reward.
Delight us once again or we will have to emigrate after the decade or two of disappointment that the UK calls normal sad to say of my love of birth but the airline race to the bottom only disappoints your best and loyal clients.

What’s the point
What’s the point of trying to register with the app if they never send the confirming email???
Poor, slow, disconnected Mobil App Experience
British Airways has a clunky, disjointed mobile experience. For starters, when I go to manage check-in from the BA app, I web browser window opens from the app. Shouldn’t I be able to do everything within the UI of the application? Then, I get banners suggesting I download the app when that browser window is open, which is just comical given the fact that I’m operating on the app.
The other reason I’m giving a poor review is that the experience on international flights between partner airlines is impossible. I couldn’t select my seats from British Airways because they claimed my flight was an American Airlines flight, and then in the American Airlines app I couldn’t pick a seat because they claim the flight is operated y British Airways, so I’m just left stuck in both ends.
Just know what you’re getting into, it’s not a smooth experience on the app like other airline apps, cough cough, Southwest, Delta, Lufthansa, etc

Awful app
App kept glitching, took me 40 minutes just to check in online.
Always crashes - never can check in using it
Worst app ever.
Never was able in the last months to check-in using the app.

Boarding pass
Not easy to retrieve to phone
Useless app
The navigation is confusing, all it does - redirect to ba.com.
App won’t login
App won’t allow login, tried on multiple devices, issue has lasted multiple months. Contacted support and they were clueless and not helpful. Login on website works fine.
Truly the best!
The best of the best, speaking for myself here! In my 5 years of flying with BA I have never had a problem with them, more so they were helping me with my problems ex: stranded with my luggage when had to change airport, I went to BA and they without any questions helped me with the process of checking in my bag to connecting flight. I know easy thing to do but I DID NOT know that I have to take my bags out and I was freaking out because my connection flight was just 40 min because first flight was super delayed and the queue sooo long. I explained to them and the lady kindly took my bag first, and she also apologised to the people behind me briefly explaining the situation. I have thanked them as well the people behind me and I will forever be grateful to BA staff for helping me get to my holiday destination 🙏🏼
Another time I made a tweet that I was feeling sick while at the airport and that I hope I can survive the flight and tagged BA since I was flying with them. In few minutes a staff member came up to me and asked me to come and sit with them at the boarding gate and they even offered me water and took my small bag into hold so I don’t have to carry it.
Kindness cost nothing and can massively change someone’s day. Thank you BA
