Clunky design, horrible connection and not user friendly. Just a polished piece of 💩 that's useless. Whoever approved this app needs to loose their jobs or a lot of other people would being late to work using this crap.The.1
More useless than a concrete parachute
Why did they change a perfectly good app to this mess? It's just awful. The few times I managed to get it to work, I had to manually look at the map and pick my train stop because the search refused to work!
The train times are wrong and weirder still, when you select the wrong time train it shows a different time :-/
It once told me I need to take 2 busses to get to my nearest train station which is a 5 minute walk away!

PT APP
TWO WORDS: HORRIBLE APP!! The old metlink app was so much better than this. Not user friendly at all. On no level does this even come close to what metlink had to offer. Difficult to navigate & close to impossible to get any sort of accurate information easily. The frustration from using this app will be the end of my iphone fo sure. Awful awful upgrade
This "update" has an order of magnitude less functionality and customizability than the previous version (v1.5).
It was in fact SO BAD that I had to resort for the first time to fishing in my Time Machine backup for the previous version, and turning off automatic updates.
The GUI seems to flout all IOS conventions (e.g. the favourites list doesn't have the usual tools for changing the orders of items). The Journey planner seems broken and just everything about it seems more simple minded than the previous version.
A triumph of visual design over functionality.
Please withdraw this upgrade and make v1.5 available again to people. There seems to be a consensus here!Show lessKarl in Melbourne
Bring back the old app
Once you've figured out how to plan your trip (which takes a while unless you go to the PTV website to get instructions) there are several major flaws in this app.
1) the information is often incorrect. A few times the app times are actually 2 or 3 mins too early. Can't they at least get this right?
2) unlike the old app, now there are no platform numbers given so once you planned your trip you still have to find a notice board at the station to find out from where your train is departing.
Summary; The old app was perfect. Why oh why did it have to change? Bring it back pllllllease !!Show lessNickBP

They ruined the app
This app worked great before they updated it! Sure it wasn't pretty, but at least it was functional. It is absolutely ridiculous now. It doesn't even have the maps or anything anymore.the Chasing
Unusable
A pretty interface, a usability nightmare, if it even functions at all. It was also entirely inappropriate that this "update" should replace my installation of the previous app and thereby wipe out my favourites. Very unprofessional and rather clumsily done, and a wasted investment paying the developers who produced this. Usability testing would be helpful.Show lessukstairs
No good in navigation!
App doesn't find addresses in Melbourne, really disappointing and a real bummer for those who rely on it to get around the city. Hope an update is soon available...Rowlbaby
