  • freezes and crashes!!!

    It’s been some weeks since this app has gone south. Initially, it was just sluggish. Of late, it freezes, whites out, and then crashes, with no ability to cancel or log out… and that’s within a minute of logging in. It no longer gives that timeout warning. The open app simply disappears from my phone screen, rather that state that it had timed out. I’ve tried everything from deleting and reinstalling app, along with resetting or turning off the iPhone. Nothing works. I mentioned this to a Wescom rep on the phone and she said they’ve been getting a lot of similar complaints about the app. I can’t help but wonder if this SNAFU leaves our bank info vulnerable out there somehow.
    PLEASE FIX ASAP.

  • Audio stops playing when I launch this app

    Overall a very positive upgrade. However, this app now interferes with audio playback from podcast and music apps any time I launch it. Audio just stops playing.
    ADDITIONAL ISSUE: I’m not liking the account layout of account details particularly for my credit card account, as it shows my AVAILABLE credit as the headline number in a larger, bolder font. I’d prefer this headline number be my amount due. As it is now, the amount due is in a smaller thinner font off to the side.

  • Takes over Bluetooth

    I’ve used the app for a long time and I generally don’t have any issues. But recently within the last couple of weeks it has been taking over my Bluetooth, for example if I’m listening to music and decide to check my balances my music is paused. I tried several different apps with sound and the Wescom app always pauses the Bluetooth. I think this is weird because I should be able to do both and there is no sound when I’m using the Wescom app.

  • Needs work

    This app has some good functions, but generally seems limited by Wescom's underlying IT infrastructure. The app is extremely slow to log in every single time, even with Face ID enabled - get used to seeing the "loadin" screen. Mobile deposit works sporadically (sometimes it indicates that mobile deposit is unavailable). When mobile deposit does work, it is finicky about check size. Some features regularly do not work and are clunky, such as making a payment from an external bank account toward a credit card (the user gets a message of "Oops! Please call"). The whole reason I have an app is to not need to call the credit union. With some work this app could be useful, but at the moment it's limited.

  • Snap Deposit

    There seems to be an issue with snap deposit. I align the check within the box and it doesn’t take a photo on auto or takes the photo before the box is aligned. I switch to manual and nothing happens. I log out and log back in and the same thing happens each time. As a LONGTIME member of this bank I am extremely disappointed with this new app. The express view is gone (unless I disable Face ID, which is annoying because then I have to manually enter the user name and password to log in). It is difficult to find certain things on this new app because they were not buried in some obscure place . Please bring back the features of the old app.

  • App and overall experience

    As a CCFCU customer who was merged as of June 1st I have had nothing but problems. The app has no convenience message or chat options to get answers and a phone call takes 45 minutes to reach someone. Zelle is constantly needing to be renewed as everyone gets a prompt that I have unenrolled. I was told to use the routing number and account number in my app for automatic payments however payments have been returned, when I finally get through to customer service a different rep tells me don’t include the zero’s in the beginning of the account number. If the account number in my app is not correct then correct it. 40 years with fort ord credit union aka Central Coast and now I’m just a number. It’s like going from crème brûlée to jello. We can put a man on the moon and invent vehicles that drive themselves but can’t seem to get the simple things to work. A little frustrated.

  • The new Wescom Mobile App is AWESOME!

    I've been a Wescom member for about 5 years, and the mobile app has been decent at best. However, the latest version has taken it to a whole new level. This app is a game-changer, and I can confidently say that it exceeds all my mobile banking needs.

    The first thing that struck me about the new version was its sleek and modern design. The interface is intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly. Navigation is a breeze, and I can access all the essential features with just a few taps.

    One of the slick features of the Wescom mobile app is the ability to schedule appointments seamlessly. Whether I need to meet with a loan officer, open a new account, or discuss investment options, I can book an appointment with just a few clicks. The app even allows me to choose my preferred branch and time slot, making the process incredibly convenient.

    Finding the nearest Wescom branch or ATM has never been easier. The app's location services integrate seamlessly, providing me with accurate and up-to-date information on the closest facilities.

    The app of course also offers a comprehensive suite of banking tools, including account management, bill pay, mobile check deposit, and secure messaging. I can easily transfer funds between my Wescom and external accounts, use Zelle, pay bills, and monitor my account balances, all from the palm of my hand.

  • Outstanding Credit Union

    I’ve been a member of WESCOM for over 25 years. Even though I moved to the Midwest 24 years ago I have kept WESCOM as my primary account because of the outstanding customer service. The online banking application runs very smoothly. The customer service representatives at Teller Phone provide patient and concerned customer service.

    WESCOM Pasadena office is a well run center. From the time you enter the lobby to when you leave ~ you have respect and assistance from a skilled staff.

    I have been a member for many years and I’ve bought several people to Wescom as I believe it has assistance that you can’t get at other institutions. And the ability to increase your savings and the safety precautions that are available are outstanding.

  • It’s ok

    Would be nice to see how much my minimum pmt or amt due right on the home page like before. Also take off the other stuff that shows up on my page. Like make an appt with a loan officer etc. if ppl wanted to make an appt put it on the menu page. That way we have more room to see our acct info. It would also be nice if we could choose our own design flowers colors etc. to put on the top of the page with larger font. Anyways, just a couple suggestions.
