  • Customer service is prioritized for subscribers not customers.

    The new ONLINE CHAT system is very upsetting. I can’t get a hold of an agent if I have an issue with the order. It just gives me a “text answer” which is not relevant nor helpful at all.
    But if I want to ask about a subscription for deliveries, then it immediately connects me to an agent.
    This shows where your priorities are as a company. This is what happens when a company becomes to greedy. Deliveroo would never do that. It also will refund the money straight to my account rather than only refund it to the “talabat app” which forces me to download it and then I have to manually refund it to my bank. Intentionally making it difficult to customers to get their money back by adding those extra hurdles.
    This company has become too big and bloated that it got all its priorities messed up, far disconnected from reality. Customers care is the last thing on their to do list. You should spend your money on your customer care development rather than those tacky Cristiano Ronaldo commercials. Its just really sad.

  • Talabat pro is not working

    I have been using Talabat for long time ago

    And recently I did not face any serious issue as the food is received on time usually there are sometimes that the order delivered is not correct but the customer complain responds quick and make the refund/replace order as you request

    anyway my big concern is according the Talabat pro like the advertising is everywhere even on the app description the first thing to appear that now talabat has talabat pro

    but when I used the application I cannot find it anywhere
    Like may I know where I can get that help I tried to contact customer complain but it seems it is only available for food ordering So The only way I found it available for contact is via app review So in my opinion to improve the app you must improve the customer complain and make it for any technical issue not when I am receiving wrong order or want to cancel or edit

    Hopefully that thing is getting fixed if these stuff been fixed the 5* is well deserved for the application

  • Terrible customer service

    These people doesn’t know what customer service means
    No way to chat agents send template emails without reading your complaint really disappointing

  • Keep Blocking My Accounts.

    Okay, I used this app almost everyday to make grocery and food orders for more than a year. Yes they were good and I’ll give them credit for those days. Not until I bought one Sebemed baby lotion 400ML from a store along with other items in that order. The order arrived and I noticed that the lotion’s pump was broken. Okay as usual I’ll contact talabat and they will refund or exchange the damaged item. This time they decided not to do neither and instead they blocked my account and with all the funds I have in my talabat pay. Reason, I violated terms and conditions of use. How did I violate that by reporting a damaged item in my order? I emailed their support team they boldly told me that my account won’t be unblocked because it’s blocked permanently. That’s how I got stuck with a damaged baby lotion without a pump to use it. Okay, I moved on from that and opened another account. After my first order, a damaged item was delivered again, I complained and this time I got a refund but my account was blocked alongside the refund. So obviously I can’t use the refund and I’m stuck with damaged item again. The app keeps blocking my accounts with funds and vouchers in it. I’m out of patience and it’s time to move on. There’re a lot of delivery apps to use in the UAE.

  • Unprofessional & Lack of Customer Support

    I placed an order after reading it would take approximately 27 minutes to arrive. After 40 minutes, I opened a chat on Talabat’s help center to talk to the customer chat to inquire about my order, but got left on ‘waiting’ for 15 minutes. I then attempted to call their number, and got placed on hold for another 10 minutes. It’s been an hour and 15 minutes since I placed my order as I write this, my order that was supposed to take 27 minutes, and Talabat’s customer service have yet to reply and my order STILL HAS NOT ARRIVED. Never using this app again - I feel ripped off, I feel like I’ve been disrespected and treated like a fool, and all this frustration made me lose my appetite. My only wish is to be able to give them 0 stars rather than 1. Disgusting honestly

  • Switching to Deliveroo

    Talabat used to have a chat function.

    Now my order is delayed because the drivers that were supposed to pick up keep cancelling and no one is picking it up.

    Now you cant even tell them anything and my order keeps being delayed..so this is probably my last time on here.

  • Good app. Could be improved

    Overall it’s a great app. Not had any major problems ordering. The delivery tracking is really useful. Only feature that’s missing that would be really useful is a favourites button. So many times I’ve seen a restaurant I want to try but forgotten the name. There are literally thousands to go through looking for it again. Just add a star button or a favourites list and it would be sooooo much easier.

  • Hope they get sued

    Talabt Egypt is basically a one big Scam, that doesn’t provide the service, it’s falsely advertisement
    The worst most Useless customer service in the entire globe
    Rude hustling Talabt riders
    And the newest edition, orders arrives opened, Taken from
    And talabt is not allowing to complaint nor to rate any “ Talabt mart” orders, not even allowing while the order is being prepare and after it even arrives to contact live customer service, only to send mail and get a respond within 24H which is “FRAUD & Scam-like”
    I deleted the app almost three months, and it’s better to look for other options than Talabt in Egypt, than to be scammed by a delivery agent and not having his contact nor to complaint quickly when the incident happen to customer care.

    Got so happy to see Talabat’s name in the newspaper, as one of the companies that isn’t updated in the Tax system
    Also I just hope it will get sued for the all the “ stolen from packages/ inaccurate deliveries/ unprofessionally lack of honesty and ETHICS

    oh no! It’s not the app that I am having trouble with, it’s the unethical and unprofessional service that Talabat is providing to its customers, scamming unknowingly and the USELESS Customer service
    Still recommend not using it and I recommend ElMenus much varieties and kind of a better service.

    Quit using Talabat Egypt, not having to deal with its rude&useless customer service will Make Your Day Better. Stopped using it since July.

  • Service service service.

    Has target items, good delivery and time frame, basically all the hard part- but absolutely لا customer service! Very hard to reach —too time consuming, nothing simple targeted at common problems, and w hen you spend the 30 min on a valid problem they never respond anyway. Simply send message that issue is resolved, but it NEVER is.
    Have received ROTTEN spoiled food and they don’t respond or replace or reimburse. Quality is worse everyday, so happens more now.
    The app offers savings with a time limit, but it takes 15 min on IPad and 10-12 on iPhone just to open app, so that time runs out before I can order. It’s like a bait and switch game.
    I hope it gets managed sometime soon, before I give up on a business I was very supportive of. A little success has made you greedy.

  • Would give 0 stars if I can

    I have been a loyal talabat customer for over 6 months. Ordering almost everyday for different things . My most recent order, it turned out that there was an item missing. I wait to get home from work, and reported this mistake of a missing item. I was in contact with the store I purchased from and they confirmed this and apologized respectfully. The talabat customer service representative however, tells me that since I waited 3 hours after the delivery to do a missing item complaint, I cannot receive my money back. To simplify it, they pretty much stole my money and told me it’s my fault I didn’t complain sooner. I’ve spent probably +10,000EGP on this application, and they just lost a loyal customer over 49EGP.
