Great for monitoring baby when away on a date night and a babysitter is at home. Motion detection made useless
When I first bought the camera the motion detection took unlimited pictures, something I need for security reasons due to the cameras location. Over the last few months Netvue have reduced the number of pictures captured by motion detection, firstly down to six and lately down to three at which time they added an advert to buy movie time for the motion detection. The reduced picture capture has rendered my camera useless in terms of capturing pictures of any intruders something that it would do when I first bought the camera. I feel the change in the cameras ability to be used for security reasons is unfair and resent Netvue’s tactics to try and get you to purchase (on a monthly bases) their video capture product.Show lessKevw01

Very easy app to use and frequent updates that include extra functionality and features. The developers appear to be taking on board suggestions from users and it isn’t to long before the app is updated to include these.GH6466

Hi. Great product (Orb) and app. Would really like a quicker way to delete notifications. Maybe a ‘Delete all’ Button so you could quickly scan though and then delete all in one clickTonyDow

HD cam, however the light for the camera to be able to see in the dark is bright blue and acts like a floodlight!! Motion sensor alerts are great and set up is fairly easy with the app. Only works on 2.4ghz setting so make sure to split this on your modem before install. Up to 20 users for one camera which is great for a family.Show lessmmyles7
worked great for awhile but...
My Netvue orb worked great for a few weeks but it suddenly stopped working and I don’t know what to do because it says it’s online and working. But when I try a live view it tells me the firmware is updating and to try again later (this has been going on for weeks), and it doesn’t register/record any motion alerts either. So it’s clearly not working. The camera just sits there and clicks randomly all day and has become a useless paperweight.Show lesspurljamber
Version 5.1 is a big step backwards!
This new version is even more confusing and buggy than the previous. It keeps asking to set a playback duration and then some sort of calendar and number selector appears without any explanation or idea what you are entering. There is still no ability for delete by swipe or multiple deletes, and the alert notification on the icon still shows 81 events even though I deleted everything. Latest upgrades are huge improvement
The initial versions of this app are absolutely horrific. But the latest upgrades have definitely address some key issues around video playback stuttering etc. Also the new features work really well.Salt Lake City Dub
