  • Good but could be improved

    I’ve given 4 stars as the app is good and easy to use the instant chat help is excellent. The camera is 1080p and pictures are clear and crisp but it can be over sensitive at night to bugs and passing traffic then misses the postman! I am waiting the new upgrade and playing with sensitivity settings. Overall I would still recommend and buy again

  • Worked okay for a couple of weeks...

    Initially worked well, but is now buggy. On LAN or cellular it takes on average 7-10 second to connect, when it use take a second. On the occasion when hearing something outside and wanting to look at the camera, by the time camera connects it's too late. Making it ineffective most of the time. Was going to purchase another camera or two initially but now looking at other alternatives. Waist of money.

  • One suggestion.

    Everything works pretty well. But can you please update it so you can see live video from each camera on the home screen without having to click on each individual camera? If you did that it would be perfect!
  • The app itself

    The camera is good on its own, but this app is not intuitive at all. It needs to be re-designed by a new team. There is 2 separate subscriptions, one for cloud storage and one for video alerts which doesn’t really make sense. The cloud storage is not good at all either. Doesn’t show any information on the timeline to give you an idea of whether there was noise or movement during that time. I would suggest just to spend some extra money and get a different camera just because of this app.

  • Wish I could rate higher

    I do like the camera quality and that you can use it in day or night. However, the app is terribly frustrating. It frequently freezes, takes too long to load the feed or does not play at all. It is very finicky, I know now that to make it work I have to completely close the app, restart it and hit refresh several times.

  • Great Cameras but Software Improvements Needed

    The cameras themselves are great and show up really clear. It has a good built-in microphone and decent talkback speaker. My only issue is with the app itself. The one annoyance I have is that I am not able to watch multiple cameras live simultaneously. I have to click on each one individually to play back or view life footage. It would be nice if you could see live footage on multiple cameras like nest can do on the iPad.

  • Outdoor camera

    Got an outdoor camera set up today and I’m very happy with how easy installation was. Camera has a crystal clear image and covers a wide view. Two-way talking works very well and you can adjust motion sensitivity and zone you want it to pick up. So far so good! Looking at another one for front of the house.

  • For now

    A day in and I’ve been having a lot of problems because I’m just like any new user. The support has been helpful and courteous throughout my set up and support. Let’s see how it goes in a few months
  • Good cameras poor app

    I’ve been in contact with Netvue multiple times over camera technical issues. These cameras are good at the price point, the app and support is poor at best.

    App does not provide a macro view of camera feeds, independent camera feeds load slowly. SD cards are in need of constant reformatting and mounting. Audio is choppy and transmits via the device speaker poorly (clarity not level).

    I would recommend these cameras if netvue was to invest in an app that was anything more than a simple, poorly designed web page refresh.

    Other than the app, which is the most important element since these cameras will not work with any third party dev, these cameras are functional.

    I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PAYING FOR THE CLOUD SERVICE. It is as slow and functions via the engineering of the app which equates to a bag of garbage from my kitchen: Doesn’t always stink but is still garbage all the same.

  • hardware great but...

    registering was a pain as had to try three emails before it would accept one as ‘valid’ also cannot sign up to subscription services as they don’t use itunes for this but insist on credit card in USD which you can’t do unless you have a usa based card.

    their customer support is “that’s the way we work” so generally unwilling to support international clients (refuse to accept paypal as that can be used for foreign repeating payments).
