  • Useful app

This app is very useful. It’s very helpful when you install the camera. The app can meet all your need to use the camera. It also allows you to control multiple Netvue cameras. I have 3 cameras so it’s very convenient for me. The only limitation is you can only set the minimum cool down time for 5 min if you use the SD card for video storage.

  • Great app for bird lovers

Purchased the Birdfy feeder and solar array and downloaded this app to use. My wife loves the thumbnail images and ease of interface. She posts her favorite 20 second videos to her social feed and has lots of like minded folk interacting with her posts. Simple, intuitive set up. Good product. Mike
  • Easy to use

I have now utilized the app for a second device set up and like the first time last year the instructions were very easy to follow and the device connected to the app seamlessly. Utilization of the QR code makes it a snap.
  • Birdify AI

The app is pretty simple to setup and use with the Birdify AI. It’s cool to see the birds stopping by my feeder and eating from it.
  • Easy to link to device!

The camera and iphone link easily by scanning the code. IT IS INPORTANT to position the code squarely in front of the camera. Resolution of the videos is very good.

It does take a few minutes to get a grip on all the app’s features, but once done, it works well.
  • Never works correctly

Error after error on this camera. Purchased so mom could see the birds closer up. Won’t connect to the 2.4 Wi-Fi with anything but weak signal (although everything else on the Wi-Fi tests with a strong signal) Videos often done open. Hard to change settings. I don’t need bird identification (mom likes to do it old school) but without it you can’t set sensitivity of camera.) not sure what app to use because all of them have issues. I think I’ll throw out the camera and get a regular one that will capture better images and works with moms Google home set up.

  • QR code

    In a very difficult location.
  • Sound issues

My grandpa got one for a bird feeder. It works really well. It can even identify each bird. There have been a couple problems tho. One problem is that if the wind blows to hard it thinks there is a bird. But that is not the worst problem. Idk if this is my phone or the app. But I am pretty sure it is the app. Whenever I open the app everything on my phone gets really quiet. When I am texting and you can usually hear the click of the keys. But once I open the app I can barely hear the click of the keys. I have to completely restart my phone to hear everything again. Plz fix this problem.

  • Poorly designed app, short battery life, focus and issue

This review is for the Netvue Birdfeeder.
1: The feeder come with a mounting option only, nothing to hang the feeder. I had to design and build a contraption so I could hang the feeder, only to thwart the squirrels. Mounting a bird feeder to a post or fence is just an invitation to squirrels. FYI nearly ALL bird feeders hang! Duh
2: No full screen option for play back/recordings. So dumb full screen isn’t an option. Full screen is available for live viewing?!!? What’s up with that.
3: the battery life is not optimal at all
4: the recordings are blurry for anything in the distance.
5: The camera loses connection when the battery runs down, then connecting the app requires pressing the setup button. It’s a stupid annoying process! What gives

This was a great ft from my daughters so I’m sticking with it. If I bought it would have been returned immediately.

  • Great set up but bird identification needs work

Updated review. The Birdfy feeder/camera/solar panel and connection to wi-fi beats Bird Buddy and I give five ⭐️s for those Birdfy elements. We’ll done! We thoroughly enjoy viewing the many visitors.

The one issue that is weak is the bird identification feature which struggles, as an example, to distinguish between a morning dove and a house finch. One can report misidentification but it appears the AI struggles to correct itself days or weeks later.

If we were to go with a security camera setup Netvue would be a first stop.
