  • Does not work on iPad

    My daughter purchased the Netvue Birdfy bird feeder for my wife. It was not until we tried using it and found out that we couldn’t get it to work while using her iPad. We tried again using my iPad but had the same results, the iPad completely locks up using the app. No where in their info did it say that it was incompatible when using a iPad. We can get it to work using our iPhone but who wants to watch on such a small screen. This is disappointing to say the least.

  • I have a dream!

    Really, I do! I dream a day when App Store allows us to give ZERO star!

    Until then, here it is: 0️⃣

    Bought one of their so-called PRO outdoor security cameras on Amazon!

    It’s supposedly 2K but my $10 Logitech web cam is much more clear than this thing.

    As for the app, as lousy as it can get!

    Don’t bother with any of these overseas cams and or their apps!

  • Highly Unstable with Vigil Plus

    Company needs to stable App with Vigil Plus. I have 7 Netvue cameras. My 5 Netvue cameras with wired power work well, but my two new battery powered Vigil Plus’ have persistent issues communicating with App. Same buggy message constantly popping up and live view doesn’t work for large parts of the day, but recording mode works fine.

    Customer support hasn’t provided feedback after it was forwarded to engineer. What should I do, Netvue?

  • Why is the Volume so loud!

    Automatically sets the volume high when viewing a camera even if your phone is on silent or volume is turned down. It is impossible to mute completely whatever you do. The motion detection is poor. The subscriptions are overpriced. The cameras are priced to sell the subscriptions. If I could start again I would choose another brand.

    The fact that it took me 4 hours to try and set my camera up and it still didn’t connect to the internet!!!! My friend has this brand and whenever she tries to look through the motion censored pictures they never load up!!!!!this is a bunch of crap and they expect you to pay over 100 a year just to resee something

  • Not recording enough time. 22seconds

    I see recording as I walk out to my truck but don’t see truck leaving. My wife’s car is leaving at that time & I see car leaving. This will not help if someone arrives and takes something. Won’t be able to provide evidence of that happening. Not good. System used to record 5 minutes of all events. Not now. Only records 22 seconds. Not happy with it after almost a year.

    Never use this company they have the worst customer service in the world and now I cannot view any playback video on any of my 9 cameras on my iPhone I can from my iPad but not my iPhone every time I call customer service they cannot help me they said Tech Support will notify you within 24 to 48 hours which never happens I’ve been waiting eight months for a replacement for my doorbell camera that was under warranty they tell me it’s a problem because their service customer support cent CG er is in Thailand and the company is in China go figure.

  • Used to be good

    They’ve updated their app recently and for motion detection they added cool down time which is 5 minutes. Basically if you have multiple events in that 5 minutes frame you will not get a notification and you will need to rewind manually to see if you missed something. Is just a rip off forcing you to subscribe to their stupid plan. I didn’t have this issue before app last update. It wasn’t no cool down time for motion detection before. You should make your motion detection to work better via firmware rather then ask for stupid subscriptions. I will definitely not recommend their products. Stay away

  • Bad update

    Did the app update and now none of the cameras videos can be viewed 🤬it just keeps saying data loading failed !
    So annoying… have tried everything to fix it. Nothing has worked. Cameras are all working and getting notifications but can’t view any of the videos …. Great update wish I had never done it.
