    1st time I have come across this brand I am so happy and would recommend these to everyone. I also am so happy with how easy the set up was.
  • Upgrade app

    Hi I have 4 cameras and have also put in friends and family homes.
    It would be great if there was a monthly package deal subscription for us who love the product but don’t have to subscribe to every camera.
    Also be good if possible to be able to view on smart tv or laptops.

    We love this camera! We bought to monitor our new litter of puppies & it has been a great decision & tool for us! Super consistent & adaptable for our situation & the price point is crazy good!
  • Constantly loosing WiFi connection

    The cameras work great… when they actually work. I have three cameras hooked up to my WiFi and even when they are the only things connected to my wifi(high speed) they still show the no connection symbol, it’s becoming a very annoying problem, the time may have come for them to go if a WiFi connection solution doesn’t come in an update.

  • You get what you pay for

    My outdoor camera never works properly, I pay a monthly subscription which I can never use because I can’t look back at the recordings , customer service is appalling, just a bunch of kids who know nothing, I would never recommend this. Also they asked me to share my camera with them , isn’t that a privacy issue? I wouldn’t trust this Chinese companies , thinking of reporting them

    Hi, to look back your recording, just click the replay button and it will bring up all the historiical recordings. If you can't, you need to tell us your device ID for further check.
  • Excellent app

    NetVue stores your security profile settings on their server which I prefer. After losing all my IPhone apps and after reinstalling NetVue, the camera profiles were there satisfactorily. It also doesn’t lose connectivity with my cameras which is another plus. Also I can playback video using the app. It’s a solid home security app to manage security devices.

  • Don’t bully me

    Had two cameras for over a year now. Pleased with the results. I record to an internal sd card which allows me to view video from previous days. But recently Netvue has been inserting a promotional screen into the app for the cloud service which appears when you try to go back in time to view video. Netvue has stopped me viewing recorded video on my card. The option to go to sd card results in a screen telling you the card needs formatted - it doesn’t. And if you do format the card it then tells you the card mount has failed- which it hasn’t as it still records motion alerts to the card despite the app telling me the mount failed. Netvue customer services keep saying it is a faulty card - it isn’t. So why if it is a faulty card does the camera start to work ok when the cloud promotion page is taken away by Netvue ? They are trying to force people into taking out a subscription which I cannot afford by blocking access to the sd card video. I was happy just recording to the sd card but if Netvue are stopping me from checking my video then if my home gets burgled I will not be able to show any video to the police. So what’s the point of having the camera. Netvue did not say you had to buy a subscription to view your sd card. I am now looking for other products and will not buy Netvue again if this is how they treat their customers.

  • Really bad app

    I bought a Netvue camera to use as a baby monitor. I have a lot of problems with it.

    First, the video gets super delayed. Sometimes by a minute or two. So I’ll be looking at my baby on the monitor sleeping soundly but in reality he’s crying in his crib and I won’t realize it for quite a while.

    Second, the app doesn’t use two factor authentication so literally any hacker who guesses my password could spy in on my baby, my wife nursing, or anything else going on in that room. I have a pretty complex password, so it’s not a huge deal, but it’s still a risk.

    Third, the app doesn’t support background video, so I have to keep it full screen in order to monitor my baby. So I can’t use my iPad for anything else while my baby is napping.

    Fourth, it has a really annoying bug with screen rotation. Whenever you first open the video feed, it launches in portrait orientation regardless of the orientation of your device. If you want to get it to switch to landscape, which is obviously the preferable orientation since it gives you a full view of the camera, you have to turn your device into portrait orientation, and then BACK to landscape orientation, to get it to display and landscape orientation.

  • Good camera, Bad SD function.

    Camera works well, picture is nice and clear and the price is right. I just bought a second camera for the house. Works with Alexa and my fire stick to show on tv. Main issues is SD only works for a short time and sometimes reformatting doesn’t work. I’ve tried 32, 64 and 128 gb. Now to try different types since they’ve all been U1. Maybe they don’t care because they want you to sign up for cloud service.

  • Needing work

    I have had these cameras for about a year now. They work relatively ok. Problem is they pick up bugs every 5 seconds, They rarely pick up people even when you are standing right in front of them. Also getting playback from them is a pain. They are supposed to be adaptive, but I have seen no learning from them at all. Even when you set the motion area for them they still pick up bogus movements. I have 5 of these cameras and none of them are capable of running on more than a 32 gig card with out having to be formatted all the time or constantly rebooted.
