  • One most important feature missed

It’s great app but how come they can miss one very important feature? If any of my task has notes and reminders why can’t I see which tasks has notes/reminders from the list view same like other apps like Things 3 are doing? I mean this app is showing sub tasks and attachment icons in the list view but not notes and reminders icons... Why??? This app deserves 5 stars otherwise but unless this simple but extremely helpful feature is added I am keeping it to one star so perhaps they will see my review and may add this feature in next update.

    Thanks

This sounds very odd as we already offer such indicators. Please send us a screenshot of what you're seeing to customers@any.do so that we can look further into this for you :)
  • The best planner by a mile @_@

Really though; for me, feature set is everything. I want tools and I want them to all play together under the same umbrella/ecosystem. - W/ the addition of Focus mode just recently, we now have an app that offers most if not all of the useful task tracking features present usually only across separate apps - AND the ability to choose one, hunker down and get it done in a guided way within the app.

I won’t dock a star for it, but I do wonder if the “Forest growing” method for focus tracking is actually more useful to the mind than more traditional pomodoro. - I recently switched from using an app like this focus mode - “stay on task, grow trees, grow a focus forest” to using a more simple pomodoro, but I’m definitely excited for ANY style of focus feature because let’s face it, that is the HARDEST part about task management. No other app has taken this into consideration to my knowledge and this is a big step I think for the standards of productivity apps.

  • Room For Improvement

This app is great! I currently use the free version, but might even upgrade to premium. The only thing I have to say is it is somewhat difficult to pinpoint the day you want the event on. This would be an easy fix though. Simply just allowing the user to set a date for the event and a separate reminder. Multiple reminders would also be very helpful. Also, in calendar view, the dates are a day off. For example, in the calendar Fathers Day is on Sunday June 16, 2019, but on the list below it has it as June 15th. But even if you click on the event, it’s still listed for the right date. Once again, a simple fix. Other than that, this app is great!

  • Has changed my life

I LOVE lists. Normally I only use pen and paper, but this app makes it so easy. I’ve recommended it to all my family and friends!

  • Love the app but it crashes on startup now

Sorry for this! We've recently released a new version (4.29.8) which should resolve this. If you're still experiencing issues please contact customers@any.do so our team can assist you!
  • Way overpriced. Updated.

Edit: thanks for the reply, but I stand by my review. I understand what the product/service is, I still think that it’s overpriced. I also have since tried the Mac app and found it quite poor, so that’s another negative...

    Original review:

The functionality is really good, but it costs more than Netflix per month. If my wife and I were to use this to organise our tasks together it would cost almost $200 a year 🤦‍♂️

Subscription based pricing puts me off any app, but if something is priced okay and there are no other options then I'll buy. So even though I prefer this app over the competition I've checked out so far, it's just too expensive to consider.

Any.do is not only a product but also a service. We are continuously adding new features, keeping your information synced and safe 24/7, and providing Priority Support for any need you may have. Since Any.do is offering much more than a standard product, we have decided a subscription is the best pricing for it, like similar apps on the market :) Sharing tasks and lists can be done between both free and Premium users. Whether or not everyone on your team needs Premium accounts depends on how you would like to collaborate. Free users can only share one task at a time but can accept and fully participate in as many shared tasks as they would like. Free users can also share lists but only in 'read only' mode. This means that they can add tasks to and complete tasks from the list but cannot add any extras such as reminders, notes, files, and subtasks. Premium users can share and fully participate in as many tasks and lists as they would like. That said, we offer various promotions throughout the year with up to 50% discount, which you are welcome to inquire regarding at premium@any.do :) As for the Mac app, we've already released a new one which can be downloaded from our site and will soon be up on the App Store.
  • Please change calendar view

I think this app is absolutely fantastic for tasks, but lets itself down as a calendar app. The time slots are barely visible and it’s very hard to see if you are adding an overlapping event. I need warning of this in my old age as I don’t want to find out I should be in two places at the same time. I find I’m referring back to my google calendar to see the time blocks. I really hope this is something they change in the future - not great if you have poor vision.
I would love to use this app for all my task and calendar needs.
Also I can’t see calendar events on my Apple Watch

We plan on adding a Calendar View to the Watch app some time in the future :) As for the Calendar View in the main app, we appreciate the feedback and will be sure to forward it to our Product Team for review :)
  • Looks great. Wish it worked as great as it looks.

Hoping future updates allow the app to work as stated. Location notifications don’t work at all. Tried many times with many locations. Timed reminders work most of the time but not all. The web beta is a start hoping it gets better. Sorry I signed up for the subscription. Too soon.

  • Great App

Great app but I am struggling to integrate fully with apple watch. Having said that I am still learning so it could very well be a case of infective user.

Being able to use across devices with a simple task and subtask functionality where the overiding task can have reminders and a schedule set.

I have some wish list items which is the only reason I didn't give a 5 star review. But I also acknowledge that additional features can impact simplicity of use and functional performance, and I would hate to lose the current simplistic design and cross platform functionality for extra features

Thank you for the feedback! You can find instructions on how to integrate your Apple Watch with Any.do, over on our Help Center (https://support.any.do/smart-wear/). As for any suggestions, just go to Settings - Support - Suggest a Feature and send us the details there :)
  • It’s ok

The best thing about the app is it’s connection to Alexa and Siri so I can add to my reminders and lists in one place and on the go. However, the bells and whistles stop there. I paid for the “premium” version with the misunderstanding that it would have a more robust calendar function. It doesn’t. The only difference with the calendar is that you can change colors in the premium version and that is hardly worth the money. I need to have tasks and the calendar in a single app, and while it does this, there are much better apps for such integration. Not being able to see a day at a time or have alternative calendar views is the greatest weakness in this app for someone looking for an integrated task/calendar organization system. It would seem like an easy fix for an app with so much potential. I will not be buying the premium edition if I continue to use it at all.

Thanks for the feedback! Please note that Any.do supports a minimalist design focusing on power tools alongside a simple interface. Our Premium version, as described on our site, does not offer more calendar options as adding more screens does not align with our product goals at this time. Our Help Center details the Calendar functions in full for all platforms and subscription types - https://support.any.do/calendar-view/. That said, if you're still within the 14 days refund period, our team will be able to assist you in getting a refund, should you contact them at Premium@any.do :)
