  • Keeps me organized

Great to have all my lists in one place. Calendar integration is brilliant. Would love to have “grocery” on the home page.

  • So excited to find this app!

Such cool features! Especially love the list order can be based on which grocery store I’m in!!! Also sharing with the family helpful when one of us in a store - they know what’s needed. When we shop together, it makes dividing and conquering the list so much easier since we see what each other has scratched off the list! Uploading recipes is a fun feature and being able to add ingredients to grocery list from recipe is handy. And again..easy to share with the family. No more excuse...”I wasn’t sure what to do tonight” 😉

  • Great app

I love this app! I love how you can make tasks and set them for different days or just ‘someday’. I think I would like this app more if I had premium because a lot of things that are so great about it, you need premium for. My reason for not giving this 5 stars is because I find it easier, when looking at the monthly calendar to see boxes and the titles of tasks not dots. I do still really like this app but I use this app for tasks and my other calendar app to set due dates and appointments. I recommend you give it a go :)

  • Started off well, may have to look else where

I recently started using the app after using google keep for awhile. I enjoyed the whole experience until I stopped getting notifications. I have noticed notifications set for under an hour or two sometimes don’t come through. Very disappointing as I have missed important reminders in my busy schedule.

  • The More Things “Change”

Yet another update in a tiny window of time (seems to be around once or twice a week) with the same standard cookie cutter iOS 11 explanation (“Sweeeet”) .... I’m all but positive these devs are mining data; they’re definitely on some BS, this app isn’t worth anywhere near a subscription at all, much less one so expensive. Don’t believe the hype. Don’t support this rapacious and predatory business model (cue dev misleading reply about “service“). The only reason it’s still on my iPhone (already been bounced from the other devices) is because I haven’t had a chance to transfer my data (been using this app for years, which should speak for its trajectory) to the other (just as useful if not more so) app(s) with more reasonable developers (sure, it’s been harvested several times over at this point but I don’t think they plan on being very forthcoming with/about it).

  • Great but

Sometimes there aren't any badges on rhe app icon even though there are tasks for the day. I open the app and go back to the home screen and the badge appears.

    A suggestion would though:
    - When adding new items with a reminder, it should sort automatically in the list

    Developer Response

The badge updates in the background. Depending on your device's settings, it may take some time to reflect changes. The reminders do sort out this way under the Calendar View :)
  • Good app!

This is a good app and I am still learning about all its functionality, however, have noticed two problems which I think are easily addressed.

    1) Why does the widget on the iPad not have the “Show More” Option like the iPhone does. I use my iPad for productivity so would like to have this same feature on the iPad too to quickly look at my calendar.

    2) The grocery list on my Apple Watch loses its category sorting that is created on the app. I like the sorting and would prefer if it stays like this on the watch too.

Heya! the iPad widget works exactly the same as the iPhone widget does :) Be sure not to use it on landscape mode though as it was not designed to support that. As for the Grocery List, the feature is not yet available for the watch app but should we see high demand we will definitely look into it :)
  • Recent update broken?

I love using this app. However, has something broken with the most recent update?

I updated two days ago and since then I cannot use the app. My iOS version is up to date v 12.1.2.

First it took several minutes for any changes (new, deleted or moved items) to reflect in my list.

Then my lists would not expand so I could not see any detail.

Now the lists are expanded but only show “label” and not the actual detail of the item, unless I click on it to edit it.

This is extremely frustrating as I rely on the app to see what needs to be done daily.

Is there a plan to fix this urgently?

    Thank you.

Heya, this is an issue which we've detected and fixed already in our latest beta version. It has to do with an improper registration an account. Please contact customers@any.do for details. We apologize for the inconvenience!
  • Used to mostly work, now unusable

I’ve used the app for a few years now. I learned early on not to rely on its reminder notifications, because most of the time they don’t work (especially on repeating tasks). However, other than that, it was pretty useful.

In the last couple weeks, though, it has become so buggy, it’s completely unusable. When I mark a task as done, it crosses out like it should, but then it just stays in place instead of moving to bottom of the list. When I press the X to remove it, nothing happens. I have to either switch to a different screen (say, the settings) or force-close the app and reopen it before it will update the list.

When I added some new tasks recently, it took a couple tries before it actually saved them.

And now I just realized that some of my tasks have disappeared entirely. I have about a half-dozen tasks that repeat every Monday. They were all there last week, but, as of today, all but one is completely gone. I hate to think what I might have put in there a while ago that might be gone now and I won’t even realize it until it’s too late.

I don’t need an app that forgets the things it’s supposed to remind me to do. I can forget to do things all on my own.
