  • Really does help!

Wanting to quit is the first step... which is already decided otherwise you’d never even look at the app! Committing to quitting is the next step, which we all know is the hardest part... but this app really does help! I have found the part that helps most is seeing my progress percentage and knowing that if I lapse, it all starts over. During a craving, I’ll sort of chant the golden rule to myself (not another puff, no matter what) while I busy myself with the tips that I created for myself and added to my favorites and a couple of the preset tips as well, and it really does help! I like being able to log my cravings as they happen too, it’s nice that the app is actually interactive, thereby actually giving you something to do in and of itself. I never thought that an app would help, but this one does! It surprised and delighted me, and I feel like I can actually do it this time! Best of luck to you, you got this!!

  • 2 years nicotine free today

I highly recommend this app, and whilst I didn’t make full use of all the functions, the ones that helped me the most were: Time Smoke Free, Your Health Improvement and Diary Entry’s. I found diary entry’s incredibly important because it helped me recognise craving triggers, for example, an argument with my wife or dealing with a difficult staff member at work, after a while, the cravings would subside whilst I was furiously typing in a diary entry about how my wife made me grumpy and how much that made me want a smoke! (Hope she never reads those lol) I’d like to thank the developers for creating this app, you are all quite literally life savers.

  • Perfect Smoke Free App

I have found this app to be amazing. It’s help me track my progress and how being smoke free is helping my health. I know how much money I’m saving everyday and when I get cravings I can add them so I’m more aware when going into that situation again! The missions are awesome and thought provoking. It all helps make staying off the smokes that bit easier!

  • Good motivator

I downloaded the app 29 Jan 2019 and have not had a cigarette in 3 months and 20 days which is such a relief, the thought of never being able to quit really terrifies me. I found the app helpful because it gave me facts about my health improvement and money saved which were updated hourly (not as notifications) so I could clearly track progress in ways other than simply quitting. It was great to be able to jokingly brag to my non-smoking partner that I had not smoked 500 cigarettes since quitting (makes me shudder to think how many cigarettes I have actually smoked in my life if that’s what I would usually smoke in 3 months!) or that I had saved $650 so I was entitled to buy that expensive bottle of wine, or that my risk of heart disease was quickly catching up to his lower chance. Personally I find that you definitely need to be in the right headspace to quit for good, because when cravings hit on an emotional level it can be so much harder than simply feeling a headache coming on due to withdrawals, but I think the missions/cravings part of the app may help to boost this strength in people who may be struggling with emotional withdrawal more than physical. Either way, it’s always good to have another tool in your belt to help you on the uphill battle to quitting smoking - I know it worked for me.

  • Outstanding App

I personally haven’t tried to many Quitting Apps but I have tried a few and I’ve found this to be the best quit smoking app yet. Other apps continually flash dumb memes in hopes they might make some inspirational mark in your life that’s so profound you’ll suddenly quit over night. This however is realistic it motivates you instead of flashing red signs that make you feel like you’re a failure for some slip up. It gives you plenty of tools and incentives to keep you motivated and focused. It gives statistical progress graphs so you can see what obstacles your body is or even has overcome through real time progress tracking. The other side is that this app is completely easy to use no guess work involved which is a feature I enjoy as well. It’s like $5 for the life time subscription (No ads and unlimited missions) to be honest it was well worth it to me though.

  • One month in and I’m so happy!

Today I reached my one month mile stone! I have had a tough few weeks as in the first week of me giving up smoking my dad passed away suddenly and I have been under a huge amount of stress. The fact that I have still not picked up a cigarette during that time is one a reflection on my will power which I thought I didn’t have and also the fantastic app! It’s given me so many great tricks and tips, seeing the milestones and the days of when I last smoked and how it’s affected my body since giving up is what keeps me going! I am so glad I got the app it’s been amazing! 2 months and I can buy the handbag I want as a well done to 3 months of no smoking! Since giving up I’m more confident as I don’t smell, my hair smells amazing my nails grow quicker, I have more money and my skin is glowing! Smoking drains your body of anything good! So giving up is the best thing I ever did!

  • Have quit twice using this app!

I started smoking when I was 15 years old. Smoked because it was the co thing to do. By 18 I was already at a pack a day. I’m 34 now and just completed my 90th day of not smoking. I tried the Nicorette gum, Chiantix, vape pens, dip and cigars to stop and was unsuccessful. Once I decided what day I was going quit, I enter it on this app and begins the countdown. As stupid as this sounds, for some reason I was actually able wake up and not start my day with a cigarette. Never thought I’d ever be able to quit. As a father of 3, last thing I wanted was to cause harm to my kids because of my bad habits. This app keeps track of the money saved and days smoke free. Don’t like two cents on reviews but this is important and want people to know that someone like me quit using this app. Well this app and a crap load of sugar free Mentos gum. Get yourself them big bags at Walmart. Good luck!

  • Great app

Great app, helps you to understand your smoking habit and identify triggers for cravings. You can submit diary logs and keep track of cravings including triggers. There is advice for coping with cravings too which is good. It tracks how much you’ve saved and has an option to link your bank account to automatically save the money you would have spent on cigarettes. It has health achievements too and shows how much your health has improved such as ‘tooth staining now reduced’, ‘energy levels back to normal’. I have benefitted from using the app as it’s directly linked to you personally, so it shows you in real time how well you are doing with your quit journey, it gives you that reminder of why you have quit, how much your health has benefitted and how much you are saving by not smoking. Generally gives a boost when you feel like you want to smoke or are feeling low in mood.

  • Ideal

Smoke free is the ideal app to assist with quitting smoking. The badges and missions are encouraging and not to mention the health trackers; which honestly open your eyes to the amount of negativities that come along with smoking. Even if you’re aware, it’s almost confronting to actually see it on screen.

Diary entries, are also incredibly helpful as they coincide with ‘triggers’ and such.
The paid version I found was an extremely small price compared to the money I spent smoking and the fact that it’s a coach for the entire duration is very much worth it!
