  • A huge help to become Smoke Free

This app has been such great support in my Smoke Free journey, I have given up smoking before in the past but have found it much easier this time around using the Smoke Free app as I find it super rewarding being able to see at anytime how much money I’m saving, health benefits over time, using it when I’m having cravings and being able to track triggers and using the coach when I’m really struggling. I’m 14 days smoke free so far and I can say confidently that this has really been a massive help.

  • Wonderful application

I bought the pro version (seeing as I would have spent more on cigarettes anyway). I check it regularly and have found it motivational, clear and simple to use. It is presented really well too! I’ve tried other apps but rate this much higher! I like to be able to track cravings, their intensity and make notes in the diary, so far it has been easier than I thought and looking back many times I’ve smoked a cigarette has been out of habit or even boredom rather than an actual craving!

Very minor but I am using NRT for when an intense craving occurs, I wonder if there could be something to track this, reduce the nicotine eliminated from system as and when. We all want 100% so to see that reducing when I’ve “caved” would motivate me to keep it at 100% and reduce NRT usage in the long run.
Is there a way to back date cravings?

  • Supportive of health Benefits

I have smoked since I was 14, I am 38. I never smoked “a ton.” But I did smoke at least one or two a day. Some days, it would be 10, if I was drinking or really stressed. I am a mother, wife, and nurse. I saw people dying young from their social habits. I also, get really bad, physically, with daily headaches and pleuritic pains when I would wake up and take my first breaths in the am. I felt really upset that I was robbing myself of my future good health and potentially robbing my children of a mother and grandmother to their children. It’s day 19. It’s really hard. But when I see my dashboard and all the cigarettes I haven’t smoked, the health benefits I’ve gained, I am encouraged to push through the cravings. I’ve smoked my whole life, essentially. I’m not sure how I’ll see myself through, but This is one piece. There’s also some really great TED talks about physiological tricks to use to prevent your brain from spiraling down the rabbit hole.

  • SmokeFree Review

I have been thinking about quitting smoking on and off for the past few months and last week I finally did it. I was on the fence for a while but when I was walking to the bus stop the one morning and after walking up a slight hill I was huffing and puffing, that was the final straw. I knew at that point I was done, I was going to quit. I am 31 years old and that’s not how I wanted to feel, so after I made up my mind I smoked the last of my cigarettes and then I was done. It’s been a little over a week and I feel great! Among several other things, quitting smoking has been another stride I’ve made in taking my life back, I refuse to be controlled by anything. Quitting smoking was a lot easier than I expected, but with the Smoke Free App I’ve been able to track cravings, watch my milestones and also see how my taste and smell sensories as well as many other things have been slowly coming back. This app has been a great help for me to keep on the road to stay away from cigarettes! I would definitely recommend this app to future people who make the choice to quit smoking! Great support system! Thanks!

  • Could Have More to Help Those Reducing

Very nice app and the interface is great. Would be great if you could add and remove what you were doing, and how you felt and also people you were with. If I say I’m with partner even if I’ve answered in the past they do not smoke it keeps asking. It would also be able to set a target date to quit and be able to see how your doing. I do not get the money saved. Even though I’m smoking less it still shows I’m in the negative if in 3 days I’ve smoked 2 packs and I use to be at a pack a day, then I’ve saved the amount I entered in per pack, but doesn’t seem to work that way. PLEASE PLEASE add something for those trying to cut down and quit. Also a quick button you could hit in the widget to log that you smoked and a running time of time since your last cigarette. Then you could see a graph of when your more likely to smoke. Maybe even to be able to set a goal to smoke only so much by certain milestone dates. This app could be the complete solution.

  • I’m now an Ex smoker!

I had been smoking for 5+ years, 20+ cigarettes a day when I decided I wanted to quit.
I found this app and it’s been so useful!! It’s really helped keep me motivated and I’m super proud of myself as a result because it has given me confidence and guidance.
This app is just wonderful. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to quit smoking. You do have to want to do it yourself, it won’t quit for you but it will help motivate you, show you how long you’ve been smoke free, allow you to track cravings and gives you tips and tricks on how to stay smoke free. It has heaps of information, for example, about what you can do to keep yourself busy when you want a cigarette and it has a section where you can enter what you are saving up for with the money you save by not buying cigarettes!
It’s just a super helpful app and I’m extremely grateful for it because without this I doubt I’d of lasted 1 hour let alone a week!! No turning back now!

  • Absolutely amazing

I honestly don’t think I would have been so successful without this app. I am now 1yr and 19 days smoke free. Yes I was ready but the real count of the financial, time and health benefits are amazing. I can quote facts and figures to my friends and whanau to encourage them too. I am now $10,000 NZ better off, 100% happier and healthier and recommend this app to everyone. My doctor is now recommending this app too.

  • This app rules

With the help of this app, and a whole lot of will power I have been smoke free for over a year. If that wasn’t evidence enough that this app rules - my mum, husband, brother and sister in law have also quit smoking. We had all tried nicotine replacement and Quitline in the past and hadn’t been successful. There are enough notifications and reinforcement in the first month to keep you on track and I turned on diary notifications for 3 months just to keep my head in the game. Seriously awesome work!

  • I attribute this app to being part of my success in quitting

When you quit smoking you can’t actually see any benefits, with smoke free you can see your progress on an hourly/daily/monthly/annual basis it’s a visual representation of the improvements that’s are happening internally! Not only that it shows how much you have saved, how many you haven’t smoked and can monitor your cravings as you put them in! This app I can see as only evolving and really being a major contributing factor to people quitting successfully, just over a year being a non smoker and I still like checking in on my progress!

    Well done!
