  • Worst mobile service I’ve ever had to deal with!

    Don’t get the family plan. It took me over 3 days to set it up and endless calls back to them. Customer service were always subpar and unhelpful. No matter how distressed I sounds or plead they just don’t understand.
    I really regret changing to this company. Now to leave this family plan I have to individually take everyone off the plan that will take days too! The worst way so you almost can’t leave. I’m so traumatised by this that I would never join a family plan again especially from ALDImobile.

  • Login to Aldimobile app only works half the time

    Half the time when I try to login either on the app or their website it just doesn’t work. Sometimes there’s an error message about the server, sometimes it just freezes on ‘loading account’ but never logs in. It’s so annoying and it’s been happening more and more often over the last year.

    Not good enough, needs to be fixed.

  • Pretty good

    I’ve been with Aldi Mobile for probably 3-4 years now and have had no issues except remembering when to recharge it. The app is great, a little outdated but works well in my opinion. I wish you could use iPhone widgets with it and constantly see what plan you’re on/how many days you have left but otherwise it’s been much better than a Telstra contract. I recommend.

    Bought a $25 prepaid sim plan for 20 G. But changed my mind to $45 for 65 G plan after. Unfortunately,
    It not allowed you to change the plan even you want to pay more. You have to use it up first then to recharge other plan you want. No flexibility at all. No exchangeable for higher grade-which is stupid. No refundable at all.
    There’s no fine print to tell you no refund/ exchange on the sim package and when you buying also no one verbally tell you no refundable.
    And when you seek help through ALDImobile the staff on the phone also not helpful, you make complaints they don’t care at all.
    I used up the data in 20 days and change provider straight away. Never going back. Terrible experience.

  • HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, TERRIBLE ATTITUDE!

    Dealing with ALDI Mobile is an appalling affair from start to finish. Try calling them only to be put on hold each time. Staff are way less than incompetent. That would be putting it lightly. Call centre person didn’t even understand English! I could not make sense what she meant and she was absolutely hopeless in understanding me even with clear, slow enunciation. What an absolute joke. I could not utilise the service for 2 whole weeks while routine maintenance was being carried out in my local area. Called ALDI Mobile support 4 times, first time was told the request for compensation went through, (surprise, it didn’t, then another staff requested escalation (no reply) 3rd time the staff for followup told me i had already paid so could not get a refund. 4th time said after processing my request it was ultimately rejected in the end! For $20 why bother wasting your time and money for subpar service, poor support and terrible staff training. NEVER again.
    I switched to another TSP the next day as I am absolutely appalled and exhausted dealing with this laughable telco ALDI mobile.

  • Used to work really well but ...

    I was happily using this app for many years now and it was working fine, and did everything I needed it to do. However, after an upgrade it simply stopped. Keep getting message saying an error occurred, whenever I want to log in. I deleted the App and then downloaded a new version. Won’t let me log on or change password. Have done this a few times now. Deleted it again today and reloaded from scratch. Still won’t accept my password or allow me to do anything. Unexpected error message is all I ever get.

  • The new app stinks! Bring back the old app please Aldi

    Clicked on the Aldi app this morning to check my data usage to discover a new app altogether. Shock horror, 😱the new app is not display my rollover data. Last time I looked I had over 20gig, now I have no idea. So then I checked my wife’s, one day ago she had over 80gig, now you guessed it. Disappeared 👻 nothing gone. I guess she still has 80gig you just don’t see it on the new app, so Aldi how do we keep track of our rollover data now??? Loved the old app so easy to use. I say bring back the old app, spend your money on something else.

  • Really easy to use just needs a widget

    Really simple UI and easy to navigate.
    Two things would make it better:
    1. A widget so you can check the expiry date and how much data your services have on the fly.
    2. If you try and turn off password required for purchase it should prompt for that password otherwise it’s pointless having it really it’s not secure.
    Otherwise great work loving this set up.

  • Easy switch from Telstra

    Moved my family over from an outdated Telstra family plan. Did it one number at a time to make sure there were no issues. There weren’t. Numbers retained and all went smoothly. Love the rollover data you get with Aldi and the app works really well for us. I had to stay with Telstra myself as I need cover in really remote areas but wish I could change over. So much better value.

  • Don’t complain

    Read all the reviews on the app and what I found out that you are rubbish this good app. Been a customer for around 10 years I think but those problems are just minor. Yes I had but I could not login in and I actually went to the Aldi shop and bought a pr paid voucher and than login in when my date was not working. I don’t use this app that much much but it does do the job that I want to do. Try Telstra and other and found out they do the same thing for double the money which if you don’t have the financial look for a better provider which I would not. Only one think that this doesn’t work in some areas and I won’t name them. Still happy with Aldi. The auto renew is good but it won’t let you renew after it expires. You have to start all again which is a bit of pain in their behalf. Should be able to renew until you don’t want it anymore? Very happy with this. I have change provider but I come back to this because it fits my budget. ****
