    I’m not a computer wiz by no means, and I honestly didn’t even know what a VPN was until a couple of weeks ago. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ AVIRA was so easy and simple to use! It walked me through the initial startup step by step, fast, and efficiently! 5 Stars! Thanks Avira!
  • Payment and reinstall of app tricky

    You have to reinstall the app via email link Avira sends you. Very inconvenient, poorly worded, and lacking easy to find information. Otherwise a great service. Affordable rates, with multi device setups.

    I love your product, easy to use protection + the bonus of having a feature that removes duplicates of your photos, just amazing!

    Cannot find a support link in app and have been charged for a trial subscription which isn’t working and cannot be restored app just crashes… Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck

    Seems to work better than Norton. With Norton, my navigation did not work, but this has more features for the phone and my navigation and cell data plan still work for internet.

    Downloaded the 30 day free trial. All was good for about 4 days but then the VPN refused to stay on for more than a few micro seconds. This was followed by the VPN page refusing to stay open. Shame as I was beginning to think well of the app Update Big problems with the iOS mail app. When the VPN is on Apple iOS mail won’t update and emails already there can’t be readily opened when they have an attachment. Other none Apple mail apps not effected. Switching the VPN off restores the mail app, but is then often accompanied by the VPN then refusing to turn on again. There appears to be no ready way to contact Help /support at Avira and the menu options don’t include the problem I’ve described. This is an iPhone 13 running iOS 15.4

  • Uses scam tactics

    Running the free version but when it delivers the report it states I have security issues and says I need a VPN. I am not sure what it’s scanning but my phone is always running a VPN. It seems the the report is nothing more than a scare tactic to get you to upgrade to their paid package. It’s coming off the phone immediately as I don’t like any organisation who uses scare tactics to get you to part with your money

    Thank you. I have been having so many problems with viruses or spam callers. It’s a really helpful app. It has been a while since I’ve found a good VPN to help out.
