Deseret First Credit Union has excellent customer service, fraud protection, decent location availability and an awesome mobile banking app. I would highly recommend DFCU to anyone looking to open an account for their missionary or otherwise. My family chooses DFCU and will enjoy a lifelong relationship.

Donโt use this credit union!!!!
I have been loyal to this credit union for multiple years now and out of no where I got charged a$588 fee because my savings account money was in โthe wrong savings accountโ. They are horrible to work with and greedy. They are quick to take your money and donโt give it back! I am done with them and so is my family! We are all moving our accounts and loans somewhere else! Iโll never work with them again!!! Nothing Christlike about this group!

Account loans page missing due date with amount due
With a recent update we now have to select on the individual account and the look into account details in order to find payment due date with amount due. This is extremely inefficient and frustrating since we have always seen this in the past. Please update and put this feature back into your app. Thanks.

Latest update
Since I last updated the app, just a few days ago, I have to re-sign in every time. When I first go into the app, I get a message that I havenโt signed in for a while. Have to re-enter the user id and password every time. The fingerprint recognition doesnโt stay on either. Update needs some work!

Love everything!
Deseret First Credit Union has the best staff, great service, a convenient location for me, and the most helpful information from the office staff! I will stay with this credit union as long as I live!
Cannot see all budget items.
We want to use Deseret first for our budget app, but at the budget categories screen it will not move past the first screen, so we cannot see most of the categories. Is this something that can be fixed?

Mobile deposit doesnโt work very well
The app works great other than the mobile deposit. I always have problems getting that to work.
Super convenient
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because almost every time I do mobile deposit it gives me a submission error. It says that I have to endorse the back with โfor DFCU mobile deposit onlyโ but I have already neatly and clearly written just that. Usually after a few tryโs it works, but itโs frustrating. The new update seems to have fixed this, but time will tell. I do love having the ability to do everything from home though, as I live 15 min from my nearest branch.

Easy to use
Love depositing checks from my couch. I've checked my balance at the store, transferred money when traveling. So convenient. I live in AZ but have kept this UT bank and can do everything I need remotely.
