Mobile Deposit
The mobile check deposit feature works so nicely. It usually takes the images of the front and back of the checks very quickly. It works so much better and more quickly capturing images than the app originally did. Way to go Desert First! Thanks!
Rubbish!! DFCU going downhill!!!
Are used to love this app. I downloaded it specifically for mobile deposits. Since they added the “For DFCU mobile deposit only” requirement, it works MAYBE 1/10 times. So now I have to attempt three deposits, driving to the branch, explain why it didn’t work… Again! Instead of saving me time in, This app now spends more of my time. And the associated CardHub app is even worse. It has me actually considering moving all of my accounts to another credit union.

Terrible Mobile Deposit
This app is generally good in everything except mobile deposit. The app is supposed to be able to read the amount on the check and the endorsement, but it can’t. I have made about 20 attempts to deposit a check WITH A MACHINE-PRINTED AMOUNT written clear as day, but the app still says that the amount entered doesn’t match the amount detected. It’s Saturday and I really need those funds deposited and now I can’t get them. Very frustrating.

Good, up until now
I’ve been happy with this app up until a recent update. I have deposited a number of checks by mobile deposit since the update, but have not once been able to do so without significant difficulty with the new requirement to write “For DFCU Mobile Deposit Only” on the back. The software they use is heavily unreliable and I always have to take 10-15 pictures before it will be accepted even though I don’t change what I wrote on the check. Very frustrating to have my most frequently used feature become so difficult.

Such an Amazing Credit Union
I would update the app to include things other credit unions are offering, because it makes your customers want to use mobile banking. Myself I don’t live near a branch and so if I need to go I have to travel some distant with what can’t be done over my phone.
I love my bank
It took some time for us to catch up with the tech that was being implemented with larger banks but that sort of progress is to be expected. The wait for little upgrades or perks is well worth the quality, professionalism and customer care and concern you will receive when banking with Deseret 1st Credit Union.

Good but has issues
Usually a good app but frequently has weird issues with transactions missing, showing double, etc. Sometimes takes days to be fixed.
Great app but . . .
I love this app for my credit union all except when the took the 4 digit password away. Yes, I understand the need for a password but doing away with this made it very inconvenient on a mobile device. That is the only reason I gave it a three stars. Otherwise it would be five stars.
Needs help
Worked great till just about a month ago when the widget stopped working. Widget shows unable to load constantly now nothing works to fix it.
Update has ruined mobile deposit
This app was great until they changed the mobile deposit. It now try’s to read your check you are depositing. It always says that the amount you entered does not match the amount on the check. Well Mr smarty pants mobile app the amounts do match. They now also make you put on the back “for dfcu mobile deposit only” and that’s a good idea. Except the app tries to read my endorsement that does say for mobile deposit only but Mr smarty pants DFCU app thinks it can can read. It cannot because I did put for dfcu mobile deposit only. This did not happen just once it happens on all my mobile deposits. So FRUSTRATING
