  • Zucchini Sticks drew me in!

Love their zucchini sticks! They are always fresh & perfectly cooked. This is the one item that made me a fan of Farmer Boys.

Their menu is terrific. Everything is fresh. The SOUTHWEST salad IS A MUST TRY.

The Patty Melt is one of my favorites and I add lettuce and tomato because I like it that way.

My husband enjoys the 1/3 lbs Bacon Avocado Burger with light cooked onions and added jalapeños. The meat is fresh (not frozen) and cooked juicy to perfection (never overcooked).

They must train their staff very well because they have consistent food quality and outstanding customer service in Anaheim and Laguna Hills.

Shout out to Gloria in the Laguna Hills location for her excellent customer service and great personality. She made a great suggestion on upselling us to a combo meal that was a better value than the separate items we were about to order. That shows integrity and makes me want to come back for more.

Gloria stopped by our table to find out how we liked our meal. She also had a manager come by to help me with the Farmer Boy app so that I would get credit for the purchase we just made.

There may be many other food options nearby however I am now a fan of Farmer Boys and will be a repeat customer because of terrific people like Gloria that make the difference to customers like me.

  • What is this UI/UX??? Ordering page…

I installed the app for the first time and signed up with Facebook. I’ve verified my email and all.
Then I attempted to order ahead from the nearest location. Things worked fine so far.

I added my meal to cart and attempted to checkout.

It asked me for sign up(create account)with email and some personal info+password for loyalty offers. Entered my email (same as OAuth login info). The next step needs full name, birthday, phone number and password. I also provided all those.

Then I get an error⛔️: “No account found with this email.” I retried and got the same thing.

IThis is account creation, not login.

I looked at the submit button and the text clearly says “Sign Up”, AKA my email isn’t in the database yet? Ok. Why am I getting this error if my info isn’t in database? Can’t even create an account.

Why is the ordering page like a separate ReactNative web view from the rest of the app and requires authentication again?

Due to the error above, I can only proceed to checkout as guest... fine. Why is this sign up form even there and doesn’t have 3rd party authentication methods? It’d save time/clicks if it this form wasn’t there. I’ve seen better apps.💀

  • Whatever happened to good service?

I asked for no pickles TWICE on my Natural Cheeseburger and it’s on the receipt but guess what? Pickles on the $11 burger! I also got a salad and the bill was over $27. I understand that we are in complete turmoil in the food industry, but the lady who helped me was aggressively indifferent with me. I’m a pretty nice person and didn’t give her any reason to be sharp with me. When she gave me the bag and I was checking the order to make sure it was right, she snottily open the window and repeated the order and said it’s all there. I don’t know who this lady is but she doesn’t belong serving customers that’s for sure. I’m very disappointed.

  • Worst Farmer Boys in the chain

I have been eating at Farmer Boys for about 30 years and I usually enjoy the experience, the store on Decatur in Paradise Nevada need some major overhaul I have been sitting in the drive-through for 10 minutes, two previous cars pulled up for me which I did not know the girl tried to give me their food and charge me for it. Now I gotta wait for them to try and get my order right I’m not trusting you right now.,,, well I received the order I got raspberry iced tea hamburger with small chunks of onion along with a small piece of bacon? Why would that be on a big cheeseburger? Well the manager did give me a coupon for a $10 on my next visit this way because I really don’t think I want to come back. I do hope that you guys get tracked together because the original Farmer Boys this is an embarrassment too.

  • Saddened

I’m sorry to write this but management needs to do better. You guys always have great food, amazing customer service with attention to detail and by far, the best fries! My husband stop by this morning to surprise me with my favorite breakfast. After we ate he asked how my orange juice was. I figured he asked because he noticed that I didn’t drink much of it. The OJ was bad, really bad. He then explained to me that one of the workers had told him that the orange juice was not expired, but a few people had already voiced concern over the taste of it. He also witnessed one of your employees, taking a sip of his own orange juice, and making a rather sour face. He was also told that they weren’t allowed to throw away the orange juice if it wasn’t expired due to management policies, regardless of the taste. I understand that you’re a business and need to always keep an eye on the bottom line, but serving food that is poor, tasting or bad is just rotten, and on top of that to charge $4.59 is just despicable. Not to mention the extra side of bacon that we paid $2.19 for was not in the food bag when he unpacked it here at home. Again, I am very sorry to ever have to write a poor review for a restaurant that I enjoy so much. I normally make it a rule to never complain about my food. I think it’s in poor taste, but when I hear why I was still served bad orange juice just disappointed me.

  • Wish they accept multiple coupons in one visit!

Farmer boys has been a long time California staple/go to for farm fresh food however they are rather pricey for being drive-through. Often times possibly because of the pressures and stress of COVID-19, the staff isn’t very friendly at the drive-through window. They always seem to be in a rush and sometimes the condiments are not in the bag as they said they would be. The food is good overall but I think in this day and age when restaurants are trying to stay open by the skin of their teeth? Farmer boys should revise their policy and accept multiple coupons for multiple people in one single car whether it’s drive-through or in the store.

  • Drive thru window workers

The guy taking the order and the girl working the window need to be more patient. It wasn’t even busy at all. You’d think they would realize if the customers don’t order food they wouldn’t have a job. I don’t like feeling bad for asking for something the way I’d like it especially when I’m paying for it. Your food is not cheap but I don’t mind paying extra for it when it’s fresh. Your food is made fresh to order and I appreciate it. What I don’t appreciate is a employee who doesn’t have respect. I’m sure she called me a name when she turned her back to be because the other employee looked over at me….. not cool at all!😕

  • Prices

My husband and I went to FarmerBoys on Rio Rancho in Pomona this evening for a quick dinner. We each ordered a big cheese hamburger - one was a combo and one was the cheeseburger by itself. We wanted to substitute onion rings for the french fries. She charged us $4.99 for the onion rings as part of the combo and only took $.48 off for the substitution. We are senior citizens and they said we need to “ask” for the senior discount at the time we placed our order. and for 4 onion rings for $4.99? That’s ridiculous!! She should have deducted the ENTIRE French fry price and added the $4.99 for the onion rings, which is way overpriced for what they are. I AM NOT HAPPY. We drive-thru all the time for the Cobb salad which we enjoy and feel that it is a good value.

On another note, I tried to download the app to get the free Big Cheese and it said that my email has already been taken! That’s ridiculous too. I have never signed up for Farmer Boys in the past.

  • Complaint

My Husband & I love Farmer Boys. Our favorite one to go to is on 5th Street in Highland. Today we experienced a bad experience. First time we felt our meal was not the best quality. We ordered the fish dinner to go. I had tried 3 times to call in my order & the call wouldn’t go thru. Thinking I must have the wrong number. Had to order my to go order inside. Because they were short handed I waited at least 30 mins for my meal. We ordered the 4 piece fish meal with zucchini. When the girl behind the counter had my meal ready to go I pointed out to her I had never gotten a fish dinner looking like it did today. She replied that it looked ok to her. I replied to her if this is what I should expect from now on I won’t come back to order your fish dinner. Not sure what you can do for me, but I feel you need to see what the food looks like when it handed to the customer. Please let me know you read my review.
