  • Not what I asked for

    I ordered my meal at the drive up window asking for extra crispy french fries and for my drink an Arnold Palmer(half tea & lemonade). We’ll when I got back to my work to enjoy my meal, I found that the fries were not crispy and my drink was all tea, no lemonade. Looking at my receipt, I now see why my fries were not crispy and my drink had no lemonade. it’s not listed that way on the order/receipt. No mention of extra crispy fries and no mention of Arnold Palmer.

    You need to improve your system on the orders. How is the person preparing the food going to know if you want crispy fries if it’s not listed on the order? and how is the person doing the drinks going to know I want an Arnold Palmer if it’s not listed on the order?

    Very disappointing!

  • Where are my points

    This Farmer Boy location is perfect, so far, eating here once a day, work related, staff is always efficient, helpful, friendly. Location is always clean. menu options is just enough variety to make delicious choices, hearty portions too, early operating hours

    Problem is the new app to earn points for free meal has many flaws , missing over 50 points and no one is able to correct

  • Many other choices

    It took 4 people to ring up an order for one breakfast. The coupon ($3 off of French toast platter and drink) was misleading - the coffee was pictured with the meal, but turns out it’s extra! I told all 4 people that I wanted a side of toast, dry (no butter) - so, of course it was buttered when I got it! The bacon (we ordered crisp) was burned and my over hard eggs were brown and really over cooked. Add the ridiculousness of everything being packed in to go containers with plastic cutlery, even though we were dining in, to the fact that they gave us 12 packets of jam, 10 packs of salt and pepper, 4 containers of syrup, 4 packets of ketchup (on fried eggs?), a container of melted butter ( for the toast I ordered dry?), and I see why their prices are high! So wasteful! Poor management and poorly trained staff. Top it off with one of the few booths being saved for employees and it makes for an easy decision - we won’t be back!

  • Fiery chicken sandwich

    Best chicken sandwich, we add bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and onions to the sandwich and it’s out of this world. We order this with your zucchini sticks. We receive great service quality food every time, we visit our Murrieta location at least 5 times a month, if not more. I believe if you would post and show a picture of this combination sales would increase on this sandwich. Thank you for having the best chicken sandwich and service.

  • Popeyes has nothing to worry about

    My wife and I are big fans of Farmer Boys, so we were so excited to try your new chicken sandwich. Our excitement certainly ebbed with our first bites. Thank God that we ordered other food just in case. Both buns were blackened and the chicken was dry, and nowhere near rivaled that from Popeye’s, or Chick Fillet, or Wendy’s, not even McDonald’s when they are fresh. We will still eat at FB, we just won’t order the chicken, nor will we give it a rave review to our friends. So disappointed.

  • New Farmers Orangecrest-Riverside

    The staff is super great! They welcome you when you walk in, it’s clean, they listen & get things right! They’re super busy but always friendly!

    I saw a woman order, then go to her car to get a Starbucks cup. She came back in, marched over to the soda fountain and filled up that cup. People are jerks !! I told an employee but I can’t imagine what they would do... And hey that thief was like 60 years old!! I really do feel for servers, etc! And I will call that woman out if I see her again!!

    Love my farmer boys here locally! Ringing that bell every time I come!!

  • No On-line Orders

    We’ve been enjoying the Strawberry milkshakes and once liked the fries. I love the Original Cheeseburger and my husband likes the Big Cheese.

    We have not enjoyed the process of getting them. The app doesn’t allow you to place an on-line order. Does not make sense since we pick our favorite location. The app gets stuck on ordering clothes which I accidentally pressed.

    When we call the Huntington Beach location every time the girl who answers the phone is yelling at us and seems like she is in a panic. When I asked for Cheddar Cheese she asked if I wanted Blue Cheese - not even an option.

    The fries had cold spots - are the fresh or frozen??

    And last night - it once again seemed like there were to many staff people behind the counter- with that many people you would think our milkshake wouldn’t be a surprise and that we wouldn’t have to wait 5 minutes for it.

    We will be reluctant to return but might because there was a “woman” instead of a bunch of kids running the store. BTW this lady picked up the phone to take an order and was calm and NOT yelling.

  • Disappointed

    I ordered a “Barn Burner Combo” paid 11+ dollars. After I paid I waited 5 min at the window just for them to tell me to drove around and that my food would be brought out. I was Frustrated (because no one was in line when I pulled up to order). The cashier said it would only be 5 mins bcz my burgers as just cooked and only had to be “put together”. I pulled around and waited ANOTHER 10 mins expecting a steaming HOT burger! Well, I got a COLD burger! Bun was cold, meat was cold and since I had already driven off wasn’t about to turn around to complain! Farmer Boy is VERY expensive and don’t come often bcz of that. But when I feel like “splurging” on an EXPENSIVE burger I think it would at least be hot! I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

  • Farmer’s Boy (FB), Escondido

    I went through the drive-through for the 4-piece Zucchini ”Happy Hour” 2 pm - 5 pm.

    I asked to use the coupon given to me by this establishment (couple weeks ago) for a free large drink w/purchase. The Assistant Manager (AM), said I couldn't use the coupon w/that offer.

    I mentioned that I was able to use the coupon, before two other times at the drive-through. Was told it should not have been allowed and he won't honor it.

    It is frustrating, to say the least, because of the inconsistencies. Not assigning blame, because the cashiers that accepted my coupon twice before acted in good faith. In return, as a loyal customer, I frequent that FB restaurant often.

    I was exasperated with the AM who condescendingly told me to calm down because he needed to be right instead of helpful.

    In the end, common sense prevailed and the coupon was accepted. After this incident, I may not go back there. I hope that FB will provide sensitivity training regarding fair and equitable customer service treatment.

  • “Really exceptional!”

    I’ve been going to this location “Farmer Boys” right around 4 months.. I have always enjoyed this location as it’s staff all are very very fun, kind, so bright and very cheerful! I go frequently to this particular location simply because they really do have really exceptional service, plus let’s not forget about their food!
    There are locations everywhere, and two of them just so happen to be so close to the destination I am at! Their food is so so wonderful! Fresh, Hot, Fabulous! Enjoy an extra special visit here! I’ll always be coming back!!
