So janky
This app seems like it was designed in 2002. The interface is bad and it’s glitchy when you try to use it—it takes several moments more to get a machine started than it would with a pay card. But the worst issue I’ve found so far is that you can’t save your credit card info or use Apple Pay, so every time you want to refill it you need to retype your credit card info into it. So if it happens to run out while I’m in the laundry room, I need to take the elevator back upstairs, get my credit card, and enter everything.

Be nice if we can just input the amount of coins we want to put in
Yeah, this app is annoying. Having to scan just to put in coins every time is just tedious. And then it’s also more expensive to use than before. 5 minutes per quarter as compared to when we just used quarter slots where it gave 6 minutes per quarter. Kind of adds up when you got 60-70 minute drying. No longer doing 70 minutes anymore and usually doing 60 now, still takes an extra quarter to get there for a total of 4 extra quarters as opposed to before where it took 3 and gave me 63 minutes. 2.50 spent now per dry compared to 2.25 back then basically.

New washer and dryers
I was so hesitant about new washer that use credit and debit cards due to that that there is so much scamming going on when your credit or debit cards are used. I was so delighted and even thrilled that you can down load the app, put money on it and then use your phone instead of a card reader. Plus the washers and dryers do an excellent job at cleaning and drying of the clothes.

Easy to use
Been using it for over a month and found it is much more convenient then using a laundry card. I have lost the card several times and would have had to go downstairs to reload it. I don’t think I’ll have the same problems with this.
Not 5 stars because I would guess some people who are not familiar with tech might have problem using it at first.

Works Well - Usually
Works well as long as there is a good internet connection. That’s been a problem here, internet weak/intermittent at times, especially in the afternoon.
Wash times displayed in app and actual vary widely. Start may show 45 min but actual finish is > 1hr 20 minutes. App and machine doesn’t follow actual, App indicates “completed “ but can have 15 minutes or more left. Machine time can stay on same time for 5-6 minutes.

Excited to do laundry!
Loaded the machines with clothes and detergent. Now it’s time to insert laundry card and I go into panic mode because I’m unable to find my card. Now what? Well, let’s just say…downloaded app, added funds, and for the first time… I can say I was so happy to do laundry! I’m so happy for the easy use of the app, the convenience of loading money and using my phone to activate the washing machines and dryer. Super easy and convenient! No more worries for misplaced laundry cards. Highly recommend!

Slowest most broken app
Such a simple job and somehow the worst implementation of it. Here’s a few fun things:
- if you put money in one location (laundromat), you can’t move it to other locations. You put money in wrong location? Money gone.
- app frequently fails to connect to machines. This means you can’t use a bunch of machines each time and sometimes it’ll take the money anyway, more money gone
- every time you send a request you have to wait a minute for the app to communicate with the machines and stand there for each machine
- every time you refill your wallet, you have to manually re-enter your financial information. The keychain is blocked too, so you have to manually enter ever name and number. No Apple Pay, nothing.

Made my laundry experience less convenient
Sure, I don’t have to have quarters on hand anymore, which is nice. But I used to just go to the bank every 2 months and get enough quarters for 2 months of laundry.
Now every time I do laundry, I’ve gotta have my phone so I can access this app, plus I’ve gotta have my credit card because you can’t save a card number or use Apple Pay as far as I’m aware. I can’t just charge directly per wash cycle, I’ve gotta load up my account, which means I’ve gotta take $10 out of the bank just to do $8 worth of laundry still. That means I’m not saving any expenditures compared to the coin method, either.
Not to mention that actually using the payment depends on Bluetooth connections, which is slow and unreliable. I got charged for a cycle that didn’t even run the other day.
Which leads me to the help functions. Trying to contact the app for help, either by email or phone, doesn’t work. It just dials “1” or starts drafting an email to “1”.
At least one pro is that I can track the duration of my cycles and see when they’re gonna be done, so I don’t have to keep track of that or guess about it anymore.

Glitchy and inconvenient
It doesn’t have scanning of the card or memorizing of the previous payment, so every time you need to add money to your balance you have to type all your credit card information, yes, including your billing address. Insane. And then it glitches. Money are taken and the machine is reported to be “busy”, but nothing actually happens and your laundry isn’t getting done. What’s even worse, now you can not try and vend that machine again, as it’s “busy”. Once it glitched and claimed that the dryer is vended for 232 minutes (it didn’t run at all, but the money were taken). Literally the worst app on my phone. Too bad it’s the only way to use the laundry machines in our residence. Bad experience.

I had quite a few big loads to do today. Last time I was here I easily downloaded the app and put money on it while I waited for my clothes.
This time it was ready to go. No quarter’s needed. I picked the washer and dryer number and started it without any problems.
