  • Doesn’t work

    You can’t even sign up through email because the verification doesn’t work. This happened to me and a friend. Don’t waste your time I guess...

  • Wish they’d bring back Rewards

    When I first joined Atom, I loved that they had a Rewards Program where every 4 tickets earned a free one. The smooth transactions and use of my AMC Stubs was an added bonus. However, I am sad that they have not brought back some form of Rewards program. I have been ordering most of my tickets through Fandango as they do a “Buy 4, get $5”.

    I do appreciate when Atom does run specials such as the recent “Get $7 off when using Chase Pay” but having a dedicated rewards would bring me back.

  • Update review

    I ordered tickets and a poster for acengers endgame and took avout 5 weeks to arrive, customer service didnt know where my poster was adter shipped or know when it would arrive, after being frustrated about the length of time since it was suppose to be a gift for my nephew, i refused to use this service again. Now After speaking to someone from the developers team two months ago, i was explained and satisfied how that person helped me after my issue. I planned not to use atom again but i am. I was given tickets to see any movie and my nephew choose lion king. Honestly great full with the service the lady gave me and so is my nephew. We will be happy customers using Atom.

  • Cool Idea, Theaters need to get on board.

    Wish this existed when I was a teenager, so perfect. Hopefully this social element will encourage studios and theater chains to embrace dynamic pricing soon, just like every other industry out there already has.

    In theory, ordering concessions ahead of time is awesome, but when I get to the concessions counter, the people behind the counter seem a little clueless. Occasionally, they don't start making the concessions until I arrive at the counter. It'd be nice if there was actually someone dedicated to incoming atom concessions alerts. Currently, theaters in Portland don't prioritize those alerts. Sometimes they'll serve all the regular customers before coming over to the atom lane to serve me.

    At the Regal Cinemas Bridgeport Village or Lloyd Center (Portland, OR area), to be specific, they treat the concessions piece of the experience like an after thought... it’s a bummer because in theory this idea is super cool.

  • Good but my location doesn’t support concessions

    My family and I loved using atom app when going to the movies because we could order food and have it delivered to our seats. Sadly, I’ve discovered that all movie locations in Hawaii no longer support this feature. This helped out greatly because we have several young kids and carrying food/drinks for everyone is not easy. The app is still cheaper than others when ordering tickets so we will continue to use it.

  • Horrible App

    I used this app a few times in the past and my transactions were successful. Tried purchasing a movie ticket this weekend and I kept getting a pop up screen telling me couldn’t process payment try another card which I did. Funny thing is I encountered this problem a few years back and called Atom they claimed the account was reset and I wouldn’t encounter the issue anymore... lies! Called them again this weekend and I’m still waiting for a resolution. If you happen to have more than one credit card on the account it gets tagged as fraud which is ridiculous. Because the name on the account and cards are the same, at least thats what I was told by the customer service representative.

  • Need a Rewards Program

    After recently bolting from Moviepass I used Atom to book my ticket to see Endgame. The app itself is great, very easy to use and my theater has a special line just for Atom food pickup which is nice. I took off a star because going forward I will probably use Fandango only because of their rewards program for booking tickets. The cost is about the same so having a Rewards program makes Fandango the better choice. I know Atom had a Rewards program last year and they need to bring it back permanently if they hope to compete with Fandango.

    So I just got the app and I’m not sure how or if I can het food when I’ve already purchase my tickets. I’m watching Endgame tomorrow so an early response would be appreciated.
  • Great with One Caveat

    I love the app, but I really wish there were a way to view which screen/auditorium corresponds to each showtime before purchasing tickets. At some theaters, not all auditoriums are created equal, so if a particular film is showing on multiple screens, it would be nice to be able to see this information when making a decision of which showing to go to. This is information which Atom clearly has, as (again) it is shown, after purchasing. Just this one little enhancement would make me feel like the convenience fees charged by Atom are fully justified!
