  • Drivers cancel too often, bombarded with ads, useless customer service

    ****Use Grab instead!**** The app sends spammy push notifications advertisements all the time (so far two today alone) and it is very difficult to get a ride. The time estimates for pickup are very unreliable. It is almost impossible to reach customer service and when you do they are useless. Also appears to violate this App Store rule: 4.5.4 Push Notifications must not be required for the app to function, and should not be used to send sensitive personal or confidential information. Push Notifications should not be used for promotions or direct marketing purposes unless customers have explicitly opted in to receive them via consent language displayed in your app’s UI, and you provide a method in your app for a user to opt out from receiving such messages. Abuse of these services may result in revocation of your privileges.

  • Bad customer service

    Useful app and functions well. However the terrible customer service let’s everything positive down.

    Automated responses. Slow (8+ hours) response time and refusal to refund for goods purchased and not delivered in a satisfactory condition. Then they close the help ticket on you and leave you with nothing.

    I used to put a lot of balance on go jerk but now when I use them I pay only with cash - then you can guarantee goods are in a fair condition before paying.

  • Frustrating!

    The app is really frustrating allowing drivers accept rides when they are 12 mins away.
    Also the minutes away does not update and you don’t know when and where the car is whilst waiting. Which leads to frustrated drivers and customers.
    It does not give realistic timings and the ride always ends up taking 10 to 15 minutes longer!
    Prices rise ridiculously even if it is not raining.
    It’s such a rip off and I would definitely not recommend!

  • Attention developers!

    The app is very good! I spend a lot of time in Bali. The he drivers are great! The service is excellent. The English version of the app is as good as any App in Australia.
    My only feedback about the app is; I can’t add a tip with my method of payment which is a Australian credit card.
    When a toll road is used, I still need cash to pay the driver.
    Please update the app to allow tipping with either the main payment of add an additional credit card tip option.
    I think it’s only fair also that if a toll road is used it is added to the main payment for the trip. Other than this points I really love your app.

  • Too corporate and no heart

    I’ve been using this app for 5 years in Bali, always used cash because I don’t feel safe using a credit card on Gojek’s platform. After all, Indonesia is on high alert when it comes to fraud. Anyways, I canceled my order one time and without warning they restricted me from using cash. I explained that the restaurant I ordered from was too far, that there was a closer one which was due to their apps error. I selected nearest option but it selected the furthest place. I’m any case, customer service was rude and they stuck to their guns. Strict policy for long time customer. If you are in Bali, simply call the restaurant instead and have them deliver rather than go through Gojek. Cold company with zero heart.

  • Worst support ever

    I tried to find a car taxi at night and created a request for a ride multiple times. Every time no driver was found but the app debited my card. Eventually, the card balance went to 0 and I couldn’t even create a new riding request. In the end, 1 transaction out of that bunch wasn’t refunded, it still presents on my bank statement (more than 1 month passed already). I contacted my bank and sent the statement to GoJek support but every time they just close my ticket with the same automatic copy. They stolen my money and don’t want to return.

    This app work more or less good right until you got problems, then it’s a nightmare.

  • Useless app

    Use my new phone number to login only to find someone else’s name and email address with trips from last year. Wouldn’t let me update the details to my own because it’s “too soon for security reasons”… yet they show me someone else’s personal information!
    Deleted the account (which they did let me do!) and started a new one with the same phone number but this time my own email address. Do you think the “verify email” button or link works? It just sends you to a screen to download the app you’ve already downloaded. Giving up and trying out Grab.

  • Great Cashless Food & Transport

    Gone are the days of struggling to carry enough small money around with me. Transport and food is ordered with credit card. And better is the convenience… those midnight munchies easily resolved and delivered promptly to my hotel room. This is the perfect App for tourists in Bali / Indonesia. No more dramas with taxi drivers. Regular users like me get a few little discounts along the way too!

  • Fake restaurants and no support

    Large number of the restaurants don’t actually cook food to the same standard, serving size or even with same ingredients as what you see in their photos and they are allowed to do this.

    We’ve used this app since it started and they’ve allowed it since then. If you order food from a place you’ve never been before - be aware it’s a lucky dip whether or not you receive what you choose.

    Support is near useless and tickets will be left open for days without reply and then suddenly closed with an apology 😂 the support is a joke so don’t expect any 🙈
