Not for convenience
I have tight lunch break constraints so when I do dine out, I try to preorder my food to save on time. Ordering online with Togo’s on Monterey Rd in San Jose is a particularly frustrating experience. Calling upon arrival does nothing. Walking in the store to pick up my food on time was met with a woman telling me (understandably) that their store was over capacity. Fine. But having to get in line and reaching the counter only to be met with the manager saying they didn't receive online orders and having to wait an additional 25 minutes for him to make me 1 sandwich is horrendous customer service. He should’ve told me their system was down and he didn’t bother to notify anyone to have this reflected in the app. He should have been responsible and told me right as I asked about my online order and gave me a choice to wait like a regular walk in customer. Don’t think this app will make your experience more convenient like other ones.

Not happy with the app. Ordered and paid was set to pick up. Realized I want to add drinks and chips. Called store. They couldn’t help me. I suggested that maybe I could go and cancel on the app and reorder with the drinks and chips. There was no option to cancel. So I just decided to keep the order as is and not have the extras. When I got to the store (20 minute later). They told they thought I had canceled! The employee said don’t worry I will make your order. 10 minutes later still not done. This is a Pickup order! I have been exposed to COVID and did not want to expose others. I had to go into the store and get my order. It was done, sitting in a bag ready but they

Extremely Frustrated
I ordered online through the app and my boyfriend went to pick it up before he left for work. Apparently the employees don’t actually read the orders they just seem to put together whatever sandwich they feel like. I ordered a ham and cheese with nothing but lettuce and received a turkey and cheddar with everything on it. This is the second time this has happened. I called the store both times and didn’t even get an apology. All I got was “bring the sandwich back and we’ll remake it”. Beyond irritated right now. Not sure if I will ever order from here again.😡

Not A Happy Camper
I ordered online for curbside order at 6:14 and they said my order would be ready at 6:29. I thought I would be smart and ordered in the parking lot at my job in American Canyon to pick up in Vallejo. I got there at 6:30 and waited in my car for 10 mins. Nothing happened so I went in to ask for my order. I got the “I’m sorry we got busy all at once” speech and I’m gonna make your order right now. So I still had to wait for 2 customers inside the store to get their orders first. Smh so what was the point of ordering online and evening filling out the description of my vehicle? So it’s like 6:50 now she gives me my order and I specifically asked her “both sandwiches have CHEESE AND AVOCADO right?” She said yes all your order is there....NOT! Omg I got home and my pastrami (fav) did not have the cheese that I paid extra for...so annoying!! Will not order online here again 😡👎🏼

Natomas Crossing - we will be shopping elsewhere
I’ve never had what I would consider good service at this location. Mostly in the employees’ attitudes. Today I ordered on the app. It said 16 minutes (would be ready at 1:18). I arrived around 1:10. The car next to me got their food around 1:30. I watched people come and go some picking up others placing an order then going. Finally at 1:44 I called to find out about my order. She found it and said it would be a couple of minutes. When she brought it out I asked what happened. I was told “we were busy” and that curbside isn’t a priority. This location is no longer a priority for me.

No comment or extra options for certain things
It is a poorly designed app that does not allow you to request for certain preferences, such as adding extra vegetables or carving out bread. There is also a character limit with your name if you want to use the loop hole.
They also allow you to place in orders even if they close early. Not sure if I can get a refund or not for something they didn’t make, but I paid for through the app. In your order summary, it also doesn’t show the location you ordered from. Definitely a huge opportunity for improvements.

Missing a lot of options
I like extra stuff on my sandwiches that I order but this app will not allow us to add additional things like peppers. Also it allows us to place our order for pick up but why can’t we order and then pay for it when we arrive. A lot of time I have cash and it’s inconvenient that I have to go in and wait, when I could have just placed my order online and have it ready. Although I can call my order in, I have more time doing it on the app.

Freezes constantly
This is the worst app I’ve ever used in my entire life. It freezes constantly. While trying to place an order it freezes so much I have to keep closing and opening it and it takes an average of 8 to 10 times for me to even get what I want. Plus, I can’t even see past orders. This app is pretty much useless and does not save me anytime, I spent more time trying to order on the app then I would if I just walked into the store and waited. While trying to email from the app to voice my concerns about my frustration, it didn’t even have a send button to go through. It’s totally useless…

This used to work
I used to use the app regularly the summer before last. It had our orders saved, I could adjust things and add quick notes. This I can only control how my sandwich is made by what they choose. My 5 yr old likes avocado on his sandwich so I used to pay extra to add it but there's no option here. Same with me liking extra pepperoncinis, I can only take it away not add extra.
I thought logging into my account would fix it, nope. That just directed me back to the same place. Guess I'm gonna have to rush over and tell them how to fix my order which is exactly what I need to be doing when I was trying to provide a quick, easy, healthy meal in the 45 mins between my kids activities.

Terrible idea and badly executed
This app drives people away from the restaurant. The app is titled Togo's Tribe - Loyalty Rewards. I drive to Togo's order my sandwiches pull up the app. Problem 1: It demands login name and password on every use. Most mobile apps remember your login info and maybe use a small number to confirm your identity. Problem 2: I can initiate an order with the app but it has no link or meaning to the staff inside the store if you order at the store. Problem 3: Where is the reward aspect?
The app is an irritating experience since it asks for email and birthdate and has given me nothing but spammy emails every day or every other day.
