Easy to setup & use
Purchased this to feed our cat when we’re away and it delivers. It has a large container for storing food enough for a week. The setup is super easy. This feeder has options for automatically feeding throughout the day or you can instantly feed as well. The app that the feeder uses notifies you when it’s done it’s job. Even better than expected so far!
Our Fresh Element Mini Feeder arrived yesterday in great condition (packaging reminded us of iPhone packaging). Our last feeder had an open dispenser that allowed ants to climb upward into the door storage bin (which required us to throw out a bunch of food!), so we love this design because it looks as if it will prevent ants from the top and bottom. It was very easy to set up, and the app was more detailed than we expected. It even has photos of various breeds of dogs and cats so you may personalize your pet’s profile. You may have to do a little math to determine the correct potion size, but there are many options to select from and I would think they would meet everyone’s needs closely enough. Absolute rubbish
I don’t know if it’s a hardware or software issue. PETKIT Mate completes install & pairing (binding in this app) without error, but always device is offline. After several hours of deleting reinstalling etc, I sort advice from a tech expert. Conclusion is that I’ve wasted money on a expensive device and time on an unsupported application.Show lesscottonnsox
Some great features but the app is buggy
Highly recommend someone to test the app from a CX perspective to address some of the bugs during setup.
Additionally, I really wish that Petkit Pura X app can utilise the weight profile of my pet better so it knows when pet is going to the toilet rather then putting it all together.Bcxxbc
Crippled App, ruined the experience
Auto connection almost none exists, have to manually connect the mini feeder to phone. The app crashed a couple of times during connecting process. When it did connected, it stuck at a step constantly ask me to close the lid of the auto feeder. As you can imagine, I double triple quadruple check the lid. The pet registration step is prolix and pointless. Finally, the UI is as confusing as it gets, if you are trying to skip some redundant info during the setting up, since all fonts are grey, you don’t even know if you can go to next step. So easy so cute
I used to use another brands automated feeder and their app and it was SOOO hard to connect my app to the machine and it wasn’t as customisable. But THISSSS. Omg I don’t usually write reviews for stuff like this but this is so good. SUPERR easy and smooth connection, SUPERR customisable - personal details, pets details, and most importantly the portion size!!!! I love. It. Its so good. So far so good w/two issues
Minus 2 stars for two issues, but otherwise this is a good app. Issue #1 is having only pre-defined serving portions that are in fractions of a cup. This might seem convenient for some users, but my cat is picky about eating stale food and so I have to feed her frequently a little at a time. It’s also why I got a smart feeder. I am also trying to keep her weight down, and so precise portions are a must. Issue #2 is in the healthy feeding feature. Going through the form to add food nutrition and brand, everything works fine until it asks to upload a photo of the ingredients. At that point, the app freezes and I have to force quit. It’s a nice idea though and needs some additional work. I skipped adding a photo for now.Show lessJosh-in-Denver
Great device. Pretty good app
The device works great!! We’ve been using it for over 1 yr and very happy. The app is a little less than intuitive in parts, but overall just fine. The social aspects aren’t interesting to us and I’m not sure who uses them, but maybe some people enjoy it. Given how much of our lives are tracked to provide services, this just seems like a feature that looked better on a whiteboard than in practice.

Nothing worse than a disorganized app and...
What truly makes me upset more than a disorganized app and that it malfunctions often, is the Firmware update the app has trouble finishing the process of the downloading of the server! How long should it take till an update process gets completed nowadays?? I did place my phone close by the Petkit GO device and I left it alone. About 5 hours later it is still downloading to the server! The only reason I made this a two stars rating is because I like the whole theme of the app and that it has potential to be a 5 star one. Sometimes I feel that it would not be a good idea to even start the Firmware update when a long run like 5 hours occurs and shows no percentage of it’s progress.Show lessMiami italiano
Great Feeder
Honestly! This is a great feeder. Their are some language errors. But it works beautifully. I had PetSafe and just switched to PETKIT. The fountain as well. The products work beautifully and they look amazing.
Recommendations:
-A remote function to open and close the feeder door for cleaning.
-A feed early button on the app schedule. Sometimes I’ll do that but it’s not a huge need as I this feeder can feed a few kibbles 1/20th of a cup as a snack.
-Unfortunately PETKIT you need to work on the English translation.
-Stainless steel insert for the Mini to help with Feline Acne.
-IFTT integration.
-Customizing the manual feed button, should it feed early or a snack etc and what size.
-Time Zones and Daylight Savings. It works fine the way it is but the ability to customize the time would be nice.
End of the day between the PETKIT Fresh Element Mini and the EverSweet 2 Fountain. PetSafe is in trouble. PETKIT has a very solid product.Show lessksully72487
