    I checked to see if my cat had been feed when I was in Italy but it kept saying pending, so I had to feed him with the snack ! The idea for getting the mini PETKIT
    was that we didn’t have to have family coming in twice a day to give him food. I then had to phone family to check on him.
    I have tried to get in touch with PETKIT but so far I’ve had no response. Another problem is that you keep having to re login every time you use it, keeps saying timed out this is very annoying. The PETKIT looks good and seems to be well made, but if you can’t rely on it what is the point of buying it.

  • Customer Service Report

    I had a wonderful experience with the Customer Support Team. When the PETKIT Feeder went offline, I was having difficulty troubleshooting. I corresponded with the Support Team via email. They did a follow up email to see if the issue was resolved. I was still having difficulty. They continued to work with me and were able to resolve the issue. Thank you so much for your products and support team. I recommend this product for future customers.

  • Frustrating

    This app is constantly having issues- disappointing as when it does work it's great but as soon as you want to make changes or need to turn the feeder off for a period of time getting it back online again is a huge head ache. At the moment we had ours offline as our dog was on a different diet but we want to set it back up again but the app just keeps saying "network error". I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and now it won't even let me login without saying network error! Ridiculous!!

  • Decent Product - Terrible App

    Decent product terrible app. It took multiple attempts on multiple phones to finally get connectivity to the many essential theater. It was absolutely like pulling teeth. Once you set up your account and then finally get in to your application and set up your feeding schedule, that if you try to log back into your account he claims he never heard of you before and says you don’t have an account with them. When you put in the email that you registered it under it says it doesn’t have a record of it. Too bad, the product seems pretty good, but God forbid I ever log out. Also obvious that the Chinese folks who wrote the instructions were pretty clueless about English. Nothing really works as advertised though you may be fortunate to stumble into something that’ll work for you. Really disappointed.

  • Needs a lot of work.

    The data itself is grey. But if you start to read little bits and pieces there’s a lot of spelling errors and sentences that just don’t make sense. Don’t bother contacting support. They won’t help you either. Been having “network errors” with the app and my dogs data in the cloud. Took me deleting the whole device and losing all my previous data to get it to finally work.

  • Works, but poor design

    We use this for our PetKit Element Smart Feeder and it works fine, but the app has pretty poor design. For example, the biggest issue I’ve come across is that only one person can be logged in at a time, so a two person home must keep logging in and out if they want to feed their pets.
  • Endless Problems

    I have been using the PETKIT app since buying the Fresh Element Smart Feeder. I have been frustrated with it from day one. The initial setup was very finnicky, often failed and took quite some time to get it setup. Then I noticed that the app and the feeder weren’t in sync. The feeder would do something or send information to the app which wasn’t correct. For example, I turned off the feeder and the app just persisted in telling me it was on line. The amount of food shown as left is often way out (yes, I have done the ‘rest food calibration’ times). Even though I have new batteries in the feeder, if power fails the feeder just dies instead of going to battery back up. Every time I open the app, I am always presented with the last page of setup which, despite having the required information, refuses to finish up. Despite the major app update in early March, I am still encountering the exact same app issues. I simply cannot edit a feed plan without the app crashing when I save a change. I have to create another pet profile then delete the old plan. I am very unsatisfied with this app and in turn the product it supports.

  • Only works sometimes

    Not happy about this. The cam is meant to move with movement but does not. There is a movement button on the app but it only works sometimes so the camera is fixed on one spot.
    The description said it has a lazer but there is no control in the app to turn it on?
    There are no instructions anywhere and it is not intuitive
    Disappointing for such an expensive product

  • Great App

    Really easy to use no issues with linking my products I now have two of the connecting devices. Profile is great to collect information about my pet to recommend feeding suggestions and add photos even without any devices added. Definitely will be collecting more!
