I recently purchased a PETKIT product, excited about its features and the convenience it promised. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory due to persistent issues with connecting the device to my WiFi network. Despite following the setup instructions to the letter, the device consistently fails to connect, rendering many of its smart features useless and leaving me unable to fully utilize the product as advertised. This has been incredibly frustrating, and multiple attempts to troubleshoot with the provided instructions have led to no success. I am disappointed with the performance of this product and the inconvenience it has caused. If the connectivity issue persists, I will have to consider returning the product and looking for a more reliable alternative.Show less123bani
Works well
They system works well and it's very freeing to be able to provide our boys an early morning feed to keep them quiet until we get up! Also, if we are unable to get back home as planned we can program an extra dry food feed remotely and get remote confirmation that it has been doled out.JimLondon1
Water and Litter box
I purchased my cat’s Pet Puramax litter box first and the portable Eversweet max for her water when it was released. These products have delighted me as it’s less work and I don’t have to worry whether she has water or her box needs cleaned. She loves them too. I went from having water bowls all over the house but she prefers her water fountain. Because it’s on battery mode the waterfall only operates every half an hour (you can change the frequency) and she will sit and wait for it to work! She also checks out her litter box is clean! PETKIT devices
We have the Petkit Eversweet Solo water filter, Petkit Fresh Element Solo Automatic feeder and the Petkit PuraMax Self Cleaning Cat Litter box and they are all amazing!!! It has made life having a new cat a breeze and it’s all so hygienic. No mess, smells or dirty areas, it keeps her water fresh, her biscuits contained and also fresh and litter is now so easy and with no mess or smell. Unbelievably fantastic!
I was suspicious (and have tried another, useless brand immediately before), but I‘ve had this for 1.5 years now and hardly have to do a thing!! (apart from changing the bin bag every few days when the app tells me to, and to add some clean litter!). My 3 Ragdoll cats absolutely love it too. Actually preferred it to the three normal litter trays I had before, so have now only one, shiny, non-smelly, totally automatic litter robot in the living room, and got the box room back!! They can’t be bothered can use face recognition
This product is ok but basic things like face recognition have not been implemented. Face and fingerprint recognition are really easy to implement on Apple kit. Months ago i spoke to their support team but they still expect users to type in a password every day, i don’t need this first thing in the morning. Other apps do biometrics, they are just being lazy/not listening to their users and they should be shamed into fixing this issue.Show lessTrevR.
Rarely accurate app
The hardware is excellent. The feeders, the water fountain and the Puramax litter tray are all excellent pieces of kit. The app is more than rubbish. Whilst I understand the need for reminders to refill the desiccant, replace the filters and deordoriser, I don’t need to be reminded if I have turned the notifications off. We have spent enough on the kit and don’t need to be reminded that the refills are overpriced. It seems like a blatant tout for more money when we have turned the notifications off and have spent close to £1000 on the kit in the first place.

Buggy
Very buggy app when used with the Pura Max. The use of English throughout the app is odd. The latest update has broken the ability to select a pet when the device doesn’t recognise which pet has used it. A big let down considering how much it cost to purchase the Pura Max.Scottishfruit
Collecting More Data
I’ve had a pair of petkit fountains for years. All of a sudden in order to launch the app you have to “bind” an email. Why? There are no functions requiring it. It’s because they’re mining your data and they need something to associate your profile. So yeah, I created a spam email account just for your petkit.
Apps shouldn’t require email addresses if there’s no discernable purpose.Show lessSanityFox
Utility value—excellent
This device will save any CAT PARENT from the trouble cleaning/sifting the cats poo and sanitizing/eliminating the odor from the excreted waste. Literally it does all those functions very well without you even lifting a finger—-user friendly interface and comes with a handy MOBILE APP that is super easy to use.
