It’s CVS of course it doesn’t work correctly
This app is junk. I can’t even get signed in and have to use the website instead. I expect nothing more from CVS. It’s all about profit and not caring about the customer experience.

A Clunky Experience; Express Scripts App Far Better
The CVS Specialty app offers a clunky user experience. (I’m using it on a current-model iPhone with the latest software.) Here are my main criticisms: (1) A large pop-up from the bottom (“Improving your site experience”) keeps appearing every time I switch a page within the app; annoying! Make it appear only once! (2) A large pop-up from the top, prompting me to take a survey, also keeps appearing; also annoying! (3) When the app opens, it’s always in the “signed out” state, and I have to take the extra step of signing in. This is easy enough to do with Face ID, but it’s dumb; auto-sign-in with Face ID should happen automatically when I open the app. (4) The Yes/No pop-up asking me to confirm that I want to leave a page is also dumb. If I hit the app’s back arrow to leave a page, just let me leave it without the extra step.
CVS could take a lesson from Express Scripts; the Express Scripts app works much more smoothly and is far better designed.
Unfortunately, I’m stuck with CVS now as my plan’s pharmacy benefit manager.

Impossible to Login
It is impossible to login to this app. It asks for a username and password. But, CVS Specialty no longer uses usernames and passwords. They use MFA to log you in now. Therefore, whenever you attempt to login, you’re told “too many unsuccessful attempts” and your account needs to be unlocked. Go through the process of “unlocking” the account and changing the password. Go to log back in, guess what? “Too many unsuccessful attempts” and your account needs to be unlocked. It is literally not possible to login to this app. App is completely useless.

not working
I have updated my account several times contacted Customer Service several times. The website finally works, but the app is not functioning whatsoever. It keeps telling me that my account is locked and I cannot access it, but I can access it online. So frustrating. I've been going around in circles all morning trying to get this operating and it's still not working so I deleted the app because it's garbage.

Terrible Security
This app is so locked down. It’s impossible to login regularly. Every time I try to login I have to change my password because it won’t accept the password even though I know I’m entering the right one. And it’s nearly impossible to do if you use a password manager it will not accept what you’re doing. I need to fix this because it’s such an important app.

You cannot turn notifications off...
Even if you go into "settings" on your iPhone. Very annoying especially if you have a bill that you owe (guess what? The company never did "benefit verification" on my co-insurances which subsequently lead to a bill showing up). Abt to delete this app and switch pharmacy because of this insidious tactic to subvert my turning the notifications OFF. So annoying to get these messages almost everyday

Orders don’t show
Everytime I go to check my orders it always say no orders and I have to keep on closing the app and trying to reload it and see if it will show my orders. I understand sometimes you can’t see orders that was just placed but I also can never see the orders placed it the past it’s always completely blank and I have to keep closing and reloading the app til it decides to work.

No way to message
I just started using this app. I orders my specialty medicine through CVS and didn’t go through the specialty app. Now I can’t order the sharps container or alcohol swabs because the medicine wasn’t ordered through the same app. CVS should be CVS and there is no place to message for support.
Need fix
Cant login to my pharmacy the app automatically closes every time this happened after update
Inconsistent Log In
App logs out after at most 4 minutes of use, even if you're in the middle of a support chat.
Order status missing
Since the last update there’s no way to see current order status. Needs to be added back in.
Recent Update Reduced Features
I mainly use this app to track the progress of my shipments and to get the tracking number following shipment. Since my last refill a month ago, the orders button now disappears as soon as I log in. Very annoying. There also seem to be fewer options than there were before, however I never used the other features, so I can’t say what’s missing with confidence.

I sign in with Face ID.
I try to view my prescription order….it makes me sign in again……..
And takes forever to load!!!!!

Terrible app
I have downloaded and updated this app multiple times and it still will not work. Tech support has also tried to help. It would be nice to have the app work and make refilling my prescription easier.
Delivery of prescription
I have been trying to get my prescriptions delivered. I’m very Handicapped and I can’t travel to cvs even though it’s an hour from my house. I tried the online app which will not let me in. I just need my meds, which are not narcatics, just my inhalers for copd and asthma.😞
Can’t refill, says loading….
I haven’t been able to refill my prescription on this app in about a year, every time I tap refill it just says loading and never loads. Same for viewing my refill history.
