Old and outdated wrong info

Doesn’t even have planks on there. It’s old and outdated.

Obsolete

Navy PRT has been updated years ago and still this app has not. Totally useless with current Navy PRT format

Plank

Please update to planks!

Need some updating!!!

Update this outdated App..please.. thank you.

Response from developer

Done! Navy PFA has been rebuilt from the ground up for the current PRT, CFT and BCA standards. Update to the latest version and give it a try. Thank you for your patience.

Missing planks data

Planks have officially replaced sit-ups. This app needs to be updated.

Response from developer

Agreed, and it's updated. The rebuilt app scores the forearm plank in place of sit-ups, plus every cardio option, CFT checks and the new BCA steps. Update to the latest version to get it.

FAQ

What does the Navy PRT Calculator app do?

The app helps U.S. Navy Sailors quickly calculate, log, and track their Physical Readiness Test (PRT) and Body Composition Assessment (BCA) scores. It is designed to be current with the latest Navy regulations, including support for alternative cardio events like swimming and cycling.

What are the key features of this app?

Key features include the ability to calculate PRT and BCA scores, log and track your fitness history, and support for alternative cardio options such as swimming and cycling. It also provides detailed scoring breakdowns for push-ups, curl-ups, and the 1.5-mile run, along with calorie calculations for the bike event.

How does the app handle PRT scoring?

The app calculates your PRT score by averaging the scores from the three fitness events: push-ups, curl-ups, and either the 1.5-mile run or an alternative cardio event. It helps you understand the scoring requirements for graduating boot camp and passing periodic fitness tests.

Is this app compatible with all Navy standards?

The app has been developed to match all possible standards according to the latest regulations, including 6110.1J. However, it's important to note that PRIMS will always be the official standard for Navy fitness assessments.

What are the common use cases for this app?

Common use cases include preparing for your PRT by understanding how your scores will be calculated, logging your results after a test to track progress over time, and quickly determining calorie needs for the bike alternative cardio event. It's also useful for sailors needing to meet specific PRT score categories.
