No Apple Pay
This app is pretty much identical to the website. It does not offer Apple Pay despite being an iOS app.
Clunky web app, not a real native app
This app feels amateurish and unfinished. It comes across as a quick band-aid fix where a basic web app was simply wrapped and pushed out as a “mobile app,” rather than something thoughtfully designed.
Navigation is clunky, performance is inconsistent, and the overall user experience shows the developers don’t really understand mobile app design fundamentals. Simple tasks take too many steps, interface is dated and unpolished.
What makes this especially disappointing is that this is coming from a region that prides itself on tech talent.
Customers rely on this app for essential services. This needs a complete redesign with real native development, not another patch layered on top of a web page.

Awful
This app terrible! Can’t even log in, all you get is an error message!
App needs to support landscape orientation on an iPad
Nice that it works on an iPad at all, but app forces portrait orientation making the use of the app awkward at best. I’m sure your crack team of developers can figure it out? Maybe a bit of AI coding would help? 🤨
Ongoing issues with no end in sight
App throws errors more often than not. Has for years. Constantly checking back in just to see if I can pay this bill should be a major priority for any company that wants to stay in business… oh wait PSE doesn’t have competition it’s a monopoly. Doubt they read reviews. Also, when the power goes out the outage map is a joke. I don’t recommend this app however it’s the only way to pay a bill with them.

This app needs some work
I really do like the convenience of this app with paying bills, outages & such but literally for a month I kept getting a “sorry/error” pop up I finally uninstalled & redownloaded it again & it works again. I feel like there’s a few things usually going on with this app.
Can’t fathom who thought it was a good idea
Why in the world would a power company REQUIRE an update to its app before the app can be used again, DURING an outage? When people are trying to conserve their phones’ power?
垃圾APP
自动登出,账户密码输入无数次提示错误,更改密码后依然无法登陆!
Great for Tracking Outages and Paying Bill
The enhancement to check on electrical outages throughout the state in addition to my service location and without logging in is great feature. Bill paying is very easy as well and shows amount due, date due, and options for immediate and delayed payments.
Only two things I’m missing that app does not seem to have. 1) The very important feature that is missing: Scheduled later payments do not have visibility, so it seems possible to schedule multiple payments when one was intended. 2) The nice-to-have would be ability to use a wallet like Apple-pay instead of storing card info in app that needs updating when card info changes.

Outage Tracking is Nice
Like being able to see when my power will be back on and the other outages in my area.
PSC app crashes all the time
This app is very concerning. There’s personal information on here and for some reason this is the only app that crashes constantly and is not consistent with crashing. I believe that PSE should be fixing this problem immediately due to the personal information that we have on this app to make payments.

BROKEN AGAIN
VERSION 5.1.1 BROKE THE APP. Here we go again. I wonder how long it will take the developer to fix this bug this time. When I open the PSE app this is what I get every time now: “Error
We're sorry, something went wrong. Please try again.”
We're sorry, something went wrong. Please try again.”
App requires the update
Are you serious? If there is an outage, then your app may say: I need the update. Do you know how “fast” mobile network during YOUR large outages?
Your app MUST BE RELIABLE and provide at least access to outage form and outage map on any version

Better with new update
App seems to be working as it should now. No issues.
Login issues during outages
Can't log in during outages even with a signal, so that's a bummer
Easy to use and helpful
I don’t understand why this app has such a low rating. It has made my bill paying process SO much more convenient and streamlined.
Horrible login experience
This app has been broken for so long and not sure why can’t they fix the simple authentication. Thousands of app work and there is nothing unique to do here. Fire the IT vendor and get a new one.
Garbage App!
I’ve been trying for more than a YEAR to get them to fix the account access issues.
Resetting your password/recovering your account straight up doesn’t work.
That’s not an acceptable issue you can just get around to fixing in 3 or 4 years from now!

App never works
You’d think they would want a working app in order to receive payment
When it works it’s fine , too often it fails for “reasons”
When it works it great for paying your bill or reporting a power outage and checking on repair progress.
But all too often the backend service to PSE fails in some way , making the app useless annoyance.
Getting the “something went wrong. Try again later” message for several days on a row , no guidance on “what” went wrong - not helpful.
If you’re going to have an app interface to the service then keep it running PSE. Or we just all revert to only paper billing and phone calls to interact like it’s 1995.
