What's New in Stuff | ToDos and Lists

2.3.7

August 8, 2026

## Smaller features - You can now drag Tasks onto In Progress in the sidebar to mark them as In Progress without changing their List or Space. - You can now press Shift-Return on Mac to add a new line in multiline text fields, while Return continues to submit. - You can now use the Up and Down Arrow keys to move through proposed Tasks in Listen or Scan Mode, press Return to edit the selected name, and use Escape to step back through editing and selection. - You can now add a Quick Plan to a selected proposed Task before adding it. ## Blips - Stuff is now faster and more performant. Clicking/tapping around on Lists from the sidebar on Mac and iPad is much snappier. - Updated Empty Trash so everything clears from view together, newly trashed items still appear normally, and the previous contents return if deletion fails. - Fixed a blip where dragging Tasks between date sections could stop working partway through a drag. - Removed an inconspicuous border on proposed tags text on Mac - Fixed a blip where the Lists Chipcard didn’t always show Lists from Search, or could show deleted items. - Fixed a blip where Quick Plan shortcuts could stop responding after collapsing a selected Task with Escape on Mac. - Fixed a blip where pressing Return after searching for and choosing a List or Space didn’t save the selection and close the Chipcard. - Updated the Mac sidebar with a cleaner, more compact design and easier row, disclosure, and options-menu interactions. - Fixed a blip where Today’s Hide Upcoming filter didn’t always refresh after a Task’s reminder time changed on another device. - Fixed a blip where pressing Return after searching for and choosing a Tag or Dependency didn’t save the selection and close the Chipcard. - Updated the iPhone and iPad Home Screen **Leave Feedback** quick action to start an email to The Mity Company instead of opening Stuff’s feedback screen. - Fixed a blip where setting or changing a Dependency on a collapsed Task could change its status without actually saving the Dependency.

Seamless Organization

The IOS version is already wonderful, so having the Mac version makes all of my task organization seamless and effective. So glad to have the Mac edition!

Lifetime License and Supporter. Say less.

Stuff directly addresses small modernisation improvements in a pleasant and objective manner. It only took me a day testing their demo to fully come aboard.

The app is filled with that rare combination of efficient thinking and a pleasing UI-UX, together with pragmatic and well thought features.

Feature Requests: small File Attachments and EE2E would give it a crown that simply makes it an undeniable leader.

I like the mentality behind the roadmap and how the app presents itself in the space against existing alternatives.

Nothing but love and enthusiasm for a long life. I’m enjoying the good Stuff. Ka pai! 🇳🇿

Breath of Fresh Air™️

I have gone through what feels like every app and every desktop program before I found this lifesaver.

I have adhd and I’m a very visual person. I have a wild amount of whiteboards because it lets me take the tangle of thoughts in my head and lay it all out so I can see everything and organize and arrange and rearrange them. The problem with whiteboards is that they’re not very portable and they’re not permanent so if I don’t take a picture it’s gone.

This app is exactly what I didn’t know I needed. It perfectly complements the way my mind works and I wish I had had it all along. Everyone’s mind works a little differently so I can’t guarantee it will be as helpful as it was for me, but it is 100% worth trying.

My one tiny feedback is that I would *really* appreciate a desktop version for non macs.

Finally found the app that Organizes

Love it - I like how workspaces, Lists and Tasks interact with one another. Nicely organized, and easy to navigate.

Needs bi-directional sync

Nice design, but for me to use Stuff it has to have bi-directional sync between Apple Reminders and Stuff. I need to be able to add a reminder, and it appears in Apple Reminders and vice versa. It can't be just one way.
