Do Not Trust Waymo
I left my phone in a Waymo vehicle and called them one minute later. Waymo rerouted the vehicle to its depot so that I could retrieve my phone there.
I could see from the phone’s location that it was inside the depot. However, Waymo then told me that the phone was not there and had been lost. Over the next 24 hours, I called approximately 15 times. Every representative told me the case had been escalated, but no one actually followed through.
I eventually had to go to the depot and stand there for two hours while they continued saying they could not find my phone—even though I could see that it was inside the building.
Waymo claims its depots have cameras and systems that can locate belongings, but they failed to locate my phone despite having the vehicle, the exact location, and immediate notice that it had been left behind. Their handling of this situation was completely unacceptable. Do not trust Waymo with your belongings.

Love Waymo
People are so afraid to ride Waymo lol. It’s fun it’s way better than riding with a driver You can’t connect your music app such as YouTube Premium or Spotify to the Bluetooth you can play the music as loud as you want. You can control the temperature it’s lit ! Also it’s not expensive like people think. Some see car that’s a Jaguar that drives itself think it’s very pricey but it’s actually cheaper than uber.

Scary…
Now upon three occasions, I’ve had terrifying experiences in Waymo with little to no help… well actually no help. My first ride, It got us stuck in an alleyway for about 30 minutes, and the second ride it almost ran us into a fire truck that was coming near us and it even pulled closer to it as it was coming towards us. It gets worse… On my third ride I ended up getting out after it was doing circles over and over and then tried to drop us off in a very sketchy alleyway (as a woman) with men in the dark approaching and watching. We called support because we felt unsafe and while we were talking to them, their response was this is where we had to get out and there’s nothing else they could do. Their not able to control the car and I’m certainly not controlling the car… so who’s actually controlling the vehicle you might ask, well I guess I won’t find out because I won’t be riding again.
