Love the food, app is not intuitive
Food is outstanding and I love the ease of ordering and then picking up without even parking! But, online does not mention availability of an App, that is just word of mouth. Also, the app leaves a little left out - when going “back” it deletes anything previously entered. Also, at the end, you see a place for Name: and I assumed it was the title/category for my email/name, not an input box. Will keep using, but hope it will be improved.Show lessLindleyhs
Fantastic service, but app is pretty rough
First of all, I *love* that roots delivers to my business! It’s the best salad bowl I’ve ever had and being able to easily get it for lunch like this is great.
That being said, the app has a slew of UI issues that make it confusing. Affordances like the dots on the bottom of the screen make it seem like you should be able to swipe horizontally but you can’t. It’s hard to tell if you’ve actually clicked on a bowl and added it to your order: the only sign is a tiny orange one, and there’s no feedback otherwise. If you add an item twice, there’s no easy way to undo the second add. Some of the icons look like they’re clipped by their container. I’d love to see Apple Pay added in the future! Having this app is definitely better than the alternative, but some user-friendliness would be awesome too!

Simple and Efficient
This app is easy to use and efficient for ordering Roots pick-up. My wife and I order pick-up probably 12 times a week. Roots offers healthy meals and big portions at a reasonable price. Can’t beat it.Chip Gerst
Awkward App
The app takes some getting used to. I had to redo my order more than once because I was confused about it. But the food is fantastic, and it’s worth grinding through the app just not to have to wait in the lengthy daily line.Clairskyk
There is a problem somewhere
The food is amazing. However, since starting the delivery program, I think I’ve counted 1 out of 10 orders has actually been correct. I don’t know if this is a personnel issue or app issue. Again, food is off the charts - even when my order is usually not correct.GroundFP
Poor design
It is difficult to tell which words are buttons. It is difficult to tell where text fields are and if they are required or not.ekabil
Good app, great food
I haven’t had any issues ordering food from this app. Though it would be nice to have a prompt to add your name vs a box for your name as some people may forget. Aside from this no issuesjeffncville

Convenient App, Fast, Healthy, and Delicious!
I love the interface and how you can make bowls customizable. Really makes my lunch decision a few times a week a breeze! I love Roots and wish that they would open one up closer to my family in ConnecticutJBreads41
Great food, terrible app
The app is a nightmare to navigate, you usually have to press buttons several times to advance with your order. And when you go to place a new order you have to cancel your previous order first, which sometimes doesn’t work. I’ve had to uninstall and download again repeatedlytcup3330
