Great Machine
I have a wheel horse that is 25 years old. It’s in great shape. My new time cutter works great also and it’s well put together. Toro makes great machines.
Great idea. Poor execution
The Bluetooth synch fails first time almost always. The password Needs better integration to Face ID process.
Synch errors half the time. Battery status incorrect often versus what a bolt meter says about battery.
Could be great app.
Also. Could integrate taking of fert manually and other lawn data.

Couldn’t add equipment
When attempting to add equipment, I was being rejected with the error stating my address wasn’t valid. Deleted the app after 7th attempt.
App doesn’t sync consistently
I’ve been using this fir several years. At first it worked well but in the past year it’s getting harder and harder to get synced data to show up.
The first attempt always fails and complains about Bluetooth not being connected (when it is). On the second tap of the Sync data button it apparently connects, and after a brief delay, reports that the data has successfully synced.
However, it doesn’t show up in the usage screen.
Sometimes logging out and back in will make the data show up, but not always. Sometimes the data shows up later on.
Luckily the mower works much better than the app...

Buggy-needs work
Nice idea but needs work. The sync is not easy to find. Also the sync button is too close to the forget button. Overall app flow is not instinctive. I look forward to future versions with improvements. Sync rarely works on first try.
Updating is difficult
When I try to update, the app claims that it is connecting then syncing and then I get a message that the sinking was successful, but it doesn’t seem to update in the app when I look at the records.
Piece of Junk
Could do faster with pen and paper if tractor had an hour meter.
Only bought PUC to use as an hour meter but it only sometimes works, the app doesn’t always communicate properly, says BlueTooth not enabled but it is.
Also logs you out after each use, makes using it a chore.
Bring back electro-mechanical hour meter and use paper.
This is junk.

My Toro
Having an app where I can get maintenance instructions and manuals is very convenient. I also added a PUC to my mower. This will allow more precise monitoring of usage and needed maintenance such as oil changes.
Good intentions, very poor execution
- uses Microsoft authentication = poor
- requires multiple requests to sync with Bluetooth, (lasted IOS on iPhone 10) = poor
- really only useful with manual entry, (wasted money on Toro Bluetooth PUC)
- I can see myself deleting this app and tossing the Toro PUC in the trash
Nice effort Toro but stick to your core products knowledge, I like my electric mower, but you have no clue how to write software. :-(

Poor investment
Doesn’t always work, constantly having errors connecting, this is the second one we’ve purchased to replace the last one that didn’t work and it died as well. Not worth the time or money.
