  • Mapping issue with Midea M7 Pro

    I have two M7Pros. The one downstairs works almost perfectly. It creates the map on first run and I'm able to mark up no-mop, no-go areas, and partition rooms. It occasionally loses room partition but this isn't a big deal as it's simple to recreate the rooms. However, the second level M7Pro is almost non-functional. Well, the vacuum robot works fine but I'm unable to mark up no-mop and no-go areas. Upon the initial run, a map is created - but in map edit, no physical walls are shown. Only the default room numbers are shown. As you can imagine, I can't place any of the virtual barriers without seeing physical walls. The map icon shows walls and different room colors (from the default map creation) but in full edit mode, I only see the default room numbers.

  • Software updates are worst

    I must say it is a good device and value for money. But software is full of bugs each update comes with new bug, I need to login every-time I am using the app, no notifications if robot is stuck, some times cleans only one room, since last update there is no image of map while robot is cleaning. Most of the time if you ask to clean a particular room or zone it starts and immediately goes back to charging. Sometimes after cleans it cannot reach to it’s home.

    1- Clear cache and storage. 2- Delete your devices from the app 3- Power off your WI-FI and device for 1 minute and power it on again. 4- Restart the connection between the device and the router again. 5. Start adding the device if problem still exists please switch to hotspot connection .
  • Lastest version won’t remember my login

    I came across this app when the Midea Air failed to setup with my Midea Window AC with my home network… with MSmartLife I was able to get it setup after a few tries, though still not easy…
    However since last update, it no longer remembers my login credential and always go back to logged out state when I use it the next day… this is really annoying and defeats the purpose of using an app as it takes more time to log into the app than use the dumb remote!!! Please fix it!!!

    It's good to use this kind of easy to use for the first time. It's really easy to use. Unexpectedly, it can't stop at all. It's good to use conscientiously. It's easy to use. It can't stop at all
  • Privacy violation

    This app allows Sign In with Apple, as it should, BUT when you are setting up your account, you are presented with a mandatory “Bind Email to Account” screen. “No problem,” I thought; “I’ll just enter the private email address Apple created for the app.” So I enter that email, and the developer seems to have anticipated this possibility, so they do not allow email addresses of the length which Apple generates to protect its user’s privacy.
    In other words, the developer of this app is using a workaround to demand we hand over our email address to circumvent Apple’s policy strictly forbidding this. Reporting this to the App Store team.

  • Can’t create an account

    Got this for a smart microwave, requires I use THIS app to use the built-in Alexa commands and requires an account to continue, however, when you go to create a password my keyboard disappears every time the text field is focused, can’t login or create an account. Stuck with a regular microwave now, Edit after breaking the app to allow me to sign in, now my microwave displays the incorrect time and I can’t fix it.

  • Time and Alexa Don’t Work

    First, despite other reviews saying the tone issue is fixed, it is not for me. I’m on the West coast and the clock keeps getting set to 4 hours ahead of PST (so an hour ahead of EST).

    Second, the Alexa connection doesn’t work well. If I ask Alexa to use the microwave, it says it’s already in use, when it’s not. If I tell it to stop the microwave, it says something went wrong.

    Just totally broken.

  • Easy setup

    After downloading the application I tried to pair the microwave with the router, and on my second failure I noticed that you must press the microwave WiFi button first. Hold this button in until the microwave displays the number 3 then pair it with your router. Now go to Alexa and under skills enable your microwave! First heated cup of coffee and my wife was impressed. We love the bright Led light inside the microwave that comes on when you open the door and while it is heating. They must have updated the clock software because we are on Central time and it stays correct even though we are connected to the internet. I would purchase this microwave again in a heartbeat.

  • This needs fixed!!

    I paid extra to be able to use my microwave with Alexa and because this app doesn’t work I can’t!! It can find my account to reset my password but won’t let me sign in. Here’s an idea since this app seems unable to do the job make an actual website on the internet that customers can go to so they can actually use the product as intended. I’ll be making the same suggestion to Toshiba when I contact them too. If you fix it I’ll improve my review but I haven’t been this disappointed in a product in years!! I can’t believe a name brand would have this issue for so long.

  • App did not work at first, but then did work

    I originally gave the app 1 star, but in fairness, I am changing it because the app is now working. I was having similar issues to other reviewer’s in that the app was not connecting to the microwave,I was getting a blank screen instead of a list of appliances when I tried to add the microwave manually. Yesterday, I spoke with someone at Toshiba who said they were working to fix the app and that it would be fixed in early July. Sure enough, I tried it today and low and behold, my microwave showed up in the list of appliances! I was then able to connect the microwave and then to connect it to Alexa without any problems. I am only leaving it at three stars because there were so many problems initially and I wasted a lot of time.
