  • Simple and works reliably

    Took a minute to add my dehumidifier. Since then i was able to control it every time i wanted. App is not cluttered, which is something i like. I wish it had a dark theme tho because i often use the app very early in the morning and i have chronic headaches/migraines. Beside that a big 5* !

  • Okay, with broken Google integration

    I was previously using the Midea Air app, and it told me to use this app instead. It also said it would migrate everything, but it did not. I was able to login to the app and add and control my window AC unit. (which it detected as a split unit) The app is simple enough and I am able to do what I need, but account info and security info are not organized well.

    I want the AC to be connected to my Google Home app, but when I choose the Midea Smart Home integration and try to login, it says that my account doesn’t exist. I thought it might be because I first tried logging in with Google authentication, so I deleted the associated Midea account through the app and made a new one. I was able to set up everything in the Midea Smart Home app itself (again), but when I try to use the Google Home integration by signing in with my Midea account’s email address, it still fails. I tried signing it with my mobile number with the same results. I’m not sure why the app knows about my account, but the Midea service that handles the Google Home integration does not.

Inside the app, navigate to the profile icon and select "Wipe Cache." 3. Log out of the app and then log back in. 4. Restart your device and reconnect to your Wi-Fi network. 5. Attempt to add the device to Google Home via the app settings. Click on "Third-party services." To discover smart home devices using a skill, in the Google assistant app: 1. Go to the menu, and then select Skills. 2. Find the skill for your device, and then select Enable. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the linking process. 3. Ask Google assistant to discover your device.   • Easy to use

    It took me a couple of minutes to connect to my Midea dehumidifier. Perfect tool to be notified to empty the water bucket.

  • Regression in support for Siri Shortcuts

    I was forced to migrate to this app from the Midea Air app. The app itself is fine, but it doesn’t include Siri Shortcuts support, like the old Midea Air app did. It’s pretty clear that Midea doesn’t care at all about iPhone users — they take years to support any new iOS features, and the loss of support for Siri is just careless. They should be building Matter-compliant appliances for cross-platform compatibility, but they probably won’t because this app is designed to acquire as much data on users as possible, so they don’t want you using Apple’s Home app or another platform. The air conditioners are good, but the software is terrible.

    Update: the “developer response” below is totally untrue — it’s 100% possible for third party apps to integrate with Siri on iOS 17 and 18. And in fact this was working in the old Midea Air app for me last week, on 17.6. The developer just doesn’t want to put in the effort to support it, so they’ll lie to you and blame Apple. Midea, you’re a truly terrible company.

Kindly note that starting from version 15 and above the IOS system will not give permission to add third party applications to SISI i so if your version Is before version 15 please follow the below troubleshooting steps: 1-Go to Settings > General > Siri and turn off Siri, wait a few seconds, and turn on Siri and turn on Siri and turn off 2-Restart your iPhone or iPad. 3-Turn on Airplane Mode briefly and then turn back off by going to Settings > Airplane Mode. IOS airplane mode 4.Update the iOS software if there is an update by going to Settings > General > Software Update.iOS software update 5.Tap Settings > General > Keyboard > and turn off “Enable Dictation” and then turn on (it is originally disabled, make sure you enable this). 6.Reset your network settings by going to Settings > General > Reset and “Reset Network Settings”. Note that this action will reset your stored Wi-Fi passwords etc. 7.Force restart your device by pressing and holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo. for our team to provide you with the best support, please reach out to customerserviceusa@midea.com

    J'ai le déshumidificateur MIDEA carré de 35 litres depuis plus de 2 semaines. Lors des vacances je l'ai installé sur le comptoir avec le tuyau dans l'évier. J'ai pu constater à distance que le taux a descendu a 38% ! Avant il se situait entre 55 et 65%

    Depuis mon retour, j'ai mis le bac avec un max de 3 gallons dans l'aire ouverte : cuisine, SAD et salon. Il a y a eu 3 gallons d'eau en 18 hrs!!! Il se situe 48-50% Le taux reste plus élevé de 10% dans les chambres même si je le met près des chambres dans l'aire ouverte. Je pense que 4 gallons sera trop pesant pour le soulever et jeter l'eau dans le bain.

    Je demeure seule dans un 4.5 demi sous-sol. J'ai 2 air climatisé a 23 C dans les fenêtres de la SAD et chambre. Depuis 2 semaines il fait 30C, 40 C avec l'humidité.
