  • More accessibility for apple

    So I love this app, it is vary good, but it really needs some accessibility for the apple ecosystem. For example I was trying to set up the app up as a widget and the app said I could use it to make a widget, but it doesn’t show up under the widget tab. Then I tried to set it up to work with Siri but that also didn’t work as under the tab for voice assistants apple’s siri was not under it.

  • And yet again…

    This app is the worst. Initial setup was okay. But ever since, over the past two years that I’ve had these plugs (the plugs aren’t the problem, it’s the app and this is the only app I can use with the plugs I purchased), the plugs will randomly, REGULARLY, go offline. Getting them to reconnect is almost impossible. I wish I had the time back I’ve spent trying to get them to reconnect to my internet. I should just purchase more plugs so I can delete this app and move on with my life but I have a fair amount of money spent on the plugs. Horrible, terrible. Clearly the app was created and no one has looked at it or improved it since.

  • So frustrating

    Every so often one of my devices will go offline. Getting it to reconnect with the router is almost impossible. I’ve spent a week now trying to reconnect one of my plugs and, even though everything else powered by WiFi in our home is working fine, I cannot get the plug to reconnect. I’ve tried using different plugs. Turned off my WiFi, turned it back on Restarted the router, deleted then reinstalled the app…just about everything the internet has said. It’s pretty obvious that the designers of this app made it then walked away and don’t address this issue.

  • Update broke widgets (again) 6 months later still not fixed.

    UPDATE 2: It’s been a half of a year since this widget issue has started again and the devs have still not resolved it.
    UPDATE: Widgets started to work again a while after my review however this latest update from 6 days ago broke widgets once again. A recent update broke widgets. “Unable to load”. Real shame as this was a daily function of mine. Seems this company has no support, I’ve reached out multiple times and never heard back.

  • Simple, works

    I can’t ever get the Apple app to work for my smart home devices. Instead, this just does what you need + no hassle or long set-ups that end up failing over and over making you wish you had never gotten a smart device to begin with. Happy to still be using this app three years later after getting fed up with all of the others.

  • So Darn Disappointing and Frustrating

    This app is such a pain. It is frustrating to set timers so you don’t come home to a dark house, only to have the lights not on when you come home. And out of my seven plugs, three have gone off-line in the past three days.

    This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced these problems. I’ve used this app for a year and it does these sorts of things frequently. Is there any chance the developers will actually address these issues?

    When the app works, it’s great. Groups works only hit and miss. Devices often go off-line and need added back onto the app.

    And for almost a week now, I’ve not been able to get two of my eight plugs to connect. The error message I get is that the devices can’t connect to the cloud. I have five plugs working as they should and two others (one is a spare) that are not connecting, out of the blue. I’ve deleted the app, disconnected my wi-fi, unplugged the plugs switched them out with each other, powered my phone off…started everything back up and these two plugs (which had worked fine just a week ago) STILL won’t connect after multiple attempts.

  • looses wifi connection too often

    i have this set up as my only device for automation and it constantly looses wifi connection 2-4 times a week although i have it set up properly. I have to unplug it then plug it back in, if it reconnects i’m fine until it disconnects the next time. if it doesn’t reconnect i have to reset it up again as a new device. i should have saved myself the money and just walk over and turn the light on saving money and my health.

  • I don’t understand how this app has such a high rating.

    I am not a negative person. I try to be optimistic. But this app and the plugs are a colossal PITB.

    When it all works, it’s great. For whatever reason, my lights being on a timer and on in our downstairs before I go down in the mornings just tickles me. It’s a mere convenience and just feels like I’m fancy (and I’m not).

    But honestly, trying to get all four dining room lights to work at the same time (even using the group option) is hit and miss. Same with my bedroom: I have two lights and like them on when I come home in the evenings. Sometimes the timer works, sometimes it doesn’t.

    I’m not an IT expert so maybe there is something on my end I could do. But if that were the case, then why do they work sometimes?

    It’s frustrating.

  • So much unrealized potential

    I am using CI to control 3 solar micro inverters. The automations could be improved. The devices I use look like they have had minimal testing with the UI. The scheduler just does not work with my devices. I added external hardware automation to reliably control my device schedules. That said, I am able to control the power limits for the solar inverters through CI which is really nice to manage their internal temperature rise. Potentially, this could be a really nice app
