Affordable and Reliable!
I was drawn to the SYLVANIA lightbulbs initially due to the product’s affordability in comparison to some of the other smart bulb systems on the market today as well as the fact that it does not require an assistant device (Alexa) to function. The bulbs were extremely easy to set up through the app as it took me less than 5 minutes to complete. Also, the app has a user friendly interface which is simplistic and has no unnecessary frills. Definitely recommended to folks looking for an affordable alternative.Show lessjryant91
Terrible App Terrible Company
Bought 4 smart LED strips, one would not go into pairing mode, while the rest blinks a blue light but app does not sync. Called customer support, they had no answer for the problem. Tried everything from changing my wifi to 2.4 to turning lights on and off as suggested- 5x -with no success. Even the users manual was outdated that came in the box (different brand).
I did my research prior to purchasing these and reviews implied they are expensive because they are considered the best, boy did was i a sucker. Terrible china made products! Never again.Show lessTmoneyfatstacks
There should be an Apple Watch app too.
The app is fine. It’s simple to setup and to use, but I find having to grab my phone and locate the app in the middle of the night, or while I’m carrying a sleeping child to bed, a bit clunky. It would be so convenient if there was a controller app for my Apple Watch. On that same vein, this app could also be optimized for iPad use. It works on the iPad, but it’s just the phone version, so it’s not visually graceful.Show lessSnkyChkn114
DARK/NIGHT MODE PLEASE
I love this app and the service it provides. It makes controlling my devices so simple and convenient.
I mostly use the app to control my lights. HOWEVER After I turn off the lights at night, I am always blinded by the bright white screen of my phone from this app. Please please please update the app with a night mode. Bad app
I can only link my 2 light bulbs to the SYLVANIA Smart Home (Bluetooth) app and not to this app! So I cannot change my lights if I’m not home or if my Bluetooth isn’t turned on. Both the bulbs have HomeKit QRcodes on them but neither of them actually connect to HomeKit 👎🏻 always fail with “cannot connect to accessory”. I have tried resetting them multiple times by power cycling them and then try to connect but they never connect to homekit. Very disappointed.Show lessArish_911

Overall it’s good. I just wish you could modify the schedule more than just on/off. Maybe be able to adjust the brightness from 10% (nightlight) to 100% when it’s time for my 3 year old to wake up?Bazulco48
Easy
For inexpensive color WiFi bulbs one-sixth the cost of competition (Philips Hue), this is surprisingly reliable of an app. I paired 8 bulbs quickly in less than ten minutes. Basic Tuya-clone but reliable.
The only improvement I ask is a “Saturation” adjustment for color mode so I can turn red into light pink, or other pastel colors.Show lessHrclz
iOS app with little iOS integration
I will open by saying that the hardware for the Smart WiFi + line is awesome: I have a set of 4 RGB A19 bulbs and a set of 4 outlets. The are super easy to set up and set schedules for. Overall, I am very happy with that aspect.
I will say that it is a little frustrating that an iOS app doesn’t talk to Siri and doesn’t have a Watch app...it feels like a halfhearted attempt. That means for items I wish to control manually, I am forced to use my phone. There is an alternative app that offers HomeKit integration, but this app is specified for these units and works flawlessly.
There is an option in the app to send a control icon to the homepage, which could probably be linked to Siri via the Shortcut app, but even if it works, this is a terrible workaround for something that should have been included in the app from the beginning.
This is so frustrating that I’m giving the app 3 stars instead of 4. If it had either Siri or the Watch app, I would give it a 4 and if both were here it’d be a 5 star review.Show lessMy2k1rS

Everything is great except the flickering. Sometimes the light just turns off. It turns off and then on again. This happens every time I turn the light on. Out of nowhere it just flickers for a good 10 mins on and off. It’s very annoying and unreliable. Maybe you can tell me if there’s something wrong with the bulbs and I can get an exchange for new bulbs. Thanks!Show lessyeeeet333
Impressive and simple app
This app has worked consistently for 3 months. I have 4 connected bulbs working on it. I really like the bulbs and the connection. Hopefully everything works for years and not just months.Rayboyle
