  • Don’t get deceived by fair prices

    You might find deals on this app which are steal and bargains but at the same time it won’t. I’ve paid for ticket from Central Asia to US, it was somehow a bit cheaper from Turkish Airlines official website, when I choose seats it added up I was fine with that, but after 2 weeks of my purchase of this ticket they stated that my flight was cancelled due to unknown reasons, but I can still see my flight info on official website that it’s still active and not actually cancelled.
    They said they will refund my ticket but no seat fees, because they spent time searching and booking it for me. It’s bizarre to see such apps being used in such high end countries like US, they simple scam your money from your seating stating it’s fee, meanwhile you pay for them and it has to be refunded back since flight is canceled.

    But no, I assume they believe it’s their fair share they have earned just because they toggled and clicked on some seats charging me over 100$ Use other known apps for travel and avoid this one at all cost.

  • Had doubts, but it’s actually decent

    I had doubts after reading all the negative reviews, but this service is actually not that bad. You will want to *call*, not message, the customer service to get in touch with someone. But they are actually pretty helpful. That’s why I’m giving 5 stars.

    *That said*, keep in mind that the main thing you are typically paying for with this service is a form of insurance in case you miss a connecting flight. They offer cheap prices because you are usually taking flights on multiple, different airlines. Then you pay a premium in case one of those flights gets delayed and you miss a connecting flight. If you are not interested in the insurance, you can book the separate flights yourself without paying the premium.

  • Made up dates of birth

    We flew return to Istanbul booked with MyTrip. On both flights they put utterly bogus dates of birth into the airline booking system. On the way out, they admitted this error and rectified it. On the return leg they claimed it was not possible. I had to spend £120 in calls from Turkey to them because I could not check my 11 year old in. I had no way of contacting the airline. I had to queue in Istanbul for 2.5 hours to sort this out, they were utterly useless and unapologetic. The airline confirmed that they entered the DOB incorrectly and MyTrip themselves confirmed that I did not give them incorrectly. The airline suggest it was because it was a bit complained to buy the ticket for my son because it was his 11-12th birthday whilst on the plane. So they just made it up. It was very stressful and I would avoid this company at all costs.

  • Thieves! Be aware!!

    Be aware that if you have to cancel on time and months ahead because you realize you booked 2 times by accident they will not refund you. Not with out a fee thats ridiculous. They got fully refunded by the airline. Yet. They kept the money. They close the chat because I asked for a manager after being told they keeping virtually most of it. Customer service is a joke!

  • Terrible experience

    I had a terrible experience with Mytrip. While I was booking, the price increased by £50 within two minutes. The program is very complicated and extremely inconvenient. Using it is very frustrating, with constant requests for information. I spent 20 minutes just on registration. In the end, the price increased, and I couldn't book or purchase tickets. During payment, the connection failed twice. I do not recommend it to anyone

  • Unsatisfactory sevice & extremely unprofessional

    I purchased a ticket, one day before my ttip the airline cancelled the flight & i had to purchase another ticket. It’s been 2months i haven’t had any feedback or reply from trip & no refund for the ticket that the flight was cancelled from them. They have no email address to write to them, no phone number to call, & the only way to communicate is through their chat & the agents always give you the same reply that they can’t do anything. Their service is very unsatisfactory & unprofessional

  • DO NOT USE

    If I could give 0 stars I would. No customer service to help with any issues, made my trip extremely stressful with them cancelling my flights 2 days before I flew out. WORST experience, DO NOT use them.
  • SCAM. Stay away from those scammers

    I booked tickets for 5 passengers and they were only able to issue tickets for two but still working on the others. 5 hrs later, they canceled for 4 passengers and when I asked them to also cancel it for the 5 passenger as there is no way 1 passenger will fly alone, they charged me a cancellation fee. It was their fault and I had to pay a cancellation fee. I still don’t know if I’m getting my money back yet because it’s been taken out from my card. Don’t waste your money on those scammers.

  • fraud company

    please dont book with this app i have recent experience with them in april 2024 when i arrived in singapore from australia my next connecting flight they refused to give me boarding pass due to this stupid app system and i missed my flight booked another one at higher cost. they do not bother about anything not even answer calls keep u waiting for 3 hrs in the que.

  • Avoid Mytrip! They scam random customers, not all, but definitely scammer!

    Please avoid this agent when you book your flight tickets!!!
    We have booked our round trip flight tickets through Mytrip between Auckland and Los Angeles. About 3 weeks before our departure, Mytrip sent through an email saying our flight has been cancelled, please review available options below and select the one we prefer. However, there is only one option in the email which is to cancel the flight. I emailed back asking is it only option is to cancel the flight, but still worry about it then I made a phone call to their helpline. Their staff clearly told me your return flight has been cancelled, but you could chose to flight to Fiji then back to Auckland with less flying time, would you like to make the change. I said yes, that could work, then they told me they will send the rebooking request to the airline and let us know once the airline confirmed. One week later there is no update, I followed up they asked us to patiently wait for the airline to confirm our rebooking request. Another week later, 4 days before our departure still no response. This time when I asked for an update , they started the ignoring process. We started panicking since it has been so close to our departure date, but return flight wasn’t confirmed. At this point, I started looking online see what’s going on with this booking agent. This is when we realised there are thousands of bad reviews about this website, and people were getting involved into similar situation like us. I further searched our return flight on the airlines website and apparently they are still tickets available and on sale, this is when I realised Mytrip is lying there is actually no change to our flight at all. Then I contacted the airline Qantas, they are really good, though normally airline will let you to sort out issue through agent if the tickets were booked through an agent. When I raised my concern with them, Qantas has helped me to check all our flight information and assured us the flights have no change and with no authorisation from us the agent will not be able to change our flight on our behalf. I then contacted Mytrip again, even when I have already checked with the airline, their staff still trying to scam us saying in their system the flight has been cancelled and you’ve required rebooking for the return flight. Till I firmly told the lady on the phone, your information is wrong i require no change to our booking, she then said oh your case wasn’t followed by me, let me transfer you to someone else to assist your query. Then a guy tried again to tell me our flight is cancelled, you needed to rebook, I told him I have already confirmed with the airline there is no change to our flight and we require no change to our booking. He then suddenly became speechless said oh okay.

    We were lucky enough as we have read the bad reviews online, stopped communicating with them. As what i can put together for this puzzle with our experience and seeing those reviews of people never got their money back from this website is if you didn’t get to contact the airline, then in your mind the agent will help you to reschedule your flight, till the last minute you will not be able to get a rescheduled flight then people would most likely to say yes to cancel the flight. Then they got your authorisation to the airline to say those people want to cancel the flights. As the tickets were booked through them, your airline will send your refund to your agent Mytrip and they will never give the refund back to you or deduct large amount of money from it before they pay you back.
