  • Scammers

    I used this app for the first time when booking a flight for a family of 7. I paid extra to pick my seats and did not get the seats I chose when I checked in. I told the airlines my complaint and they said I had to go through the 3rd party I booked it from to put in claim. It’s the simplest of refunds I had the seats I booked printed out and the the tickets with the seats I got. Here is the problem with MyTrip it’s not a real company. They have no customer service line. No email to contact for claims. I’m left on hold for an hour on a “live chat” through the app. Just to get a mysterious email that says I didn’t respond to the conversation when I literally have it pulled up in front me waiting for an hour while it says “standby for a representative”. Don’t use this app… plenty of reliable 3rd party sites … thanks to these scammers I’m out $1000.

  • Awful experience, incredible pain and inconvenience

    The MyTrip app and booking experience was terrible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. First, their check in process did not work. It will tell you they’re checking in, then 20 minutes later the check in fails. It asked me for documents and passport information, then retried (why didn’t it ask for that the first time?). Then it failed again and told me to do it manually. Because they cannot handle what a middle name is and combine it with your first name, airlines will not allow you to check in until you figure this out. Another 30 minutes wasted, thank god I started early or would have missed my flight. They did not add my known traveler number, so don’t expect to be prechecked, and they do not offer any way to add it. Want to change or cancel? Want an agent to help you? That’ll be a 45 dollar charge on top of any airline fees. This company is a scam and will make you miserable, not worth any convenience or savings they claim to offer.

    I am trying for customer service from the time I book ticket. We need transit visa, not advertised properly. Worst customer service I never seen before.

    I buy ticket with assisted old guy cuz my father fly to Clt Las Vegas San Salvador was very frustrating cuz this website is worst they missing my father on Las Vegas anyone contact me to let know before contact 911 to found my father them Avianca interconnection negative rebooking fly also charge two time bags cost $288 from spirit them Avianca charge again for bags I’m not recomended Mytrip to found fly tickets they make pay around $1,800 hundred when origin pay was around $441

  • Do not use them

    Not a nice travel agent. I had to make multiple phone calls regarding a last min flight change and cancellation situation. The team didn’t really help. They never called me back with a solution. They told me to reach out to the airline company re the cancellation process. The airline company said it’s the travel agent’s job to request the cancellation and refund. They don’t wanna help. Very very frustrating and disappointing.

  • Information is not up to date

    Flight changes are not reflected in the app, only the original booking.
  • Extra fees

    While the trip went well, they charged a significant amount for the seat reservation over what the airline charges. They charged almost $67 more for one way and another $40 for the return. Recommend booking the seats with the airline directly. They also wanted it’s a bit more for the luggage but thankfully I didn’t select that option with them. Also the airline changed our seats and we didn’t get what we paid for.

  • Avoid at All Costs

    I booked through MyTrip for my son and I. The airline canceled our reservation. We were required to contact the airline ourselves to get the refund. The airline refunded it to MyTrip, not my credit card. So I had to contact MyTrip who refunded us finally but charged a handling fee (and didn’t inform us). Their terms and conditions state that if the airline cancels, there is no fee, a full refund will be received. I am still fighting for this handing fee. I will take them to court to expose them.

  • Awful customer service

    Booked flights with them and paid for cases etc. Arrived at Gatwick and the airline said I had to pay again as it did not show on their system, contacted Mytrip and they took a week to reply and did not seem to care. Our return flights were changed, but they did not tell us until I noticed it on the actual airline website - contacted Mytrip again and they eventually said “yes it was changed” - NEVER book with them again!!!!
